Poll: Do you hate kids?

I'm fairly certain that many people are going to say they hate kids. Personally, I'm sort of neutral about them.

This is what I was going to say. Their parents, on the other hand...

Edit: And having not read the entire thread, I'm just going to assume that someone said something about reviving corporal punishment, it's decline clearly being the source of the undocumented rise in ill-behaved children based on peer-reviewed scientific studies. You know, because all things are improved with a little brute force and good ol' fashioned family values.

I don't hate kids on a whole, however i do hate the kids that live next door to me.

EVERY morning i get woken up at 6, about 10 on weekends and holidays.

I was having lunch in a café with my friend when we heard screaming in the back from a small give or take 6 year old boy about not getting an icecream from his mother.
When some people were whispering about not raising their kids the right way.
Then my friend said that some people say that because they hate children.

Now I dont plan on bieng a mother any time soon maybe in the future I love kids BTW.
Now I was wondering about you how do you feel about kids you like or you wanna just stick them

It's not that I hate kids...

It's that I hate their moron parents who A) have no clue on how to raise a child, B) go to various social places without having common sense about children in social places and C) shouldn't be allowed to have children, period.

I'm genuinely uncomfortable around children...as such I put myself down as hating them.

Kids are a burden, both financially and from a time standpoint...to have them essentially means giving up the majority of your life to ensure as good an upbringing and future for them as possible. It is a responsibility that far too many people take lightly.

I also feel that this world is no place to bring children into due to an existing overpopulation problem. It would simply feel selfish of me to bring a child into a world that is already suffering from the amount of people on it. I would definitely adopt before considering a kid...but still, I don't like children for the other reasons above.

Yep, I really hate them, basically anyone 14 and under, if they aren't mature yet. Especially under 10. Those are the worst. Although I'm having one. Just one. And I'll raise it well.

I LOVE kids! They're so cute and small and... well that's about it really. If it weren't for their cuteness I'd hate them with a burning passion. Always whining and complainging and crying and they never stop with all the noise, noise, NOISE NOISE NOISENOISENOISENOISENOI- Ahem, sorry about that. I generally like kids. There's some who need a swift kick in the teeth from time to time (the one screaming about an ice cream immediately leaps to mind, the entitled fuck), but for the most part I enjoy playing with kids and almost never dislike children being around.

Only thing they do that gets to me is the sense of entitlement some kids have (as well as an unfortunate number of adults), which seems to give them clearance to be incredibly loud, obnoxious and demeaning. In those cases I just want to slap the kid.
