It's not that I hate kids...
It's that I hate their moron parents who A) have no clue on how to raise a child, B) go to various social places without having common sense about children in social places and C) shouldn't be allowed to have children, period.

I'm genuinely uncomfortable around children...as such I put myself down as hating them.
Kids are a burden, both financially and from a time standpoint...to have them essentially means giving up the majority of your life to ensure as good an upbringing and future for them as possible. It is a responsibility that far too many people take lightly.
I also feel that this world is no place to bring children into due to an existing overpopulation problem. It would simply feel selfish of me to bring a child into a world that is already suffering from the amount of people on it. I would definitely adopt before considering a kid...but still, I don't like children for the other reasons above.

I don't really hate them to the point of wishing physical harm would befall them. I just really don't like to put up with their crap. Literally, sometimes.
I LOVE kids! They're so cute and small and... well that's about it really. If it weren't for their cuteness I'd hate them with a burning passion. Always whining and complainging and crying and they never stop with all the noise, noise, NOISE NOISE NOISENOISENOISENOISENOI- Ahem, sorry about that. But, thanks to Darwin, cuteness saves their adorable little necks from my wrath!
If kids could just time warp through the first 12 or so years of their life the moment after their birth... that would be nice 
I generally like kids. There's some who need a swift kick in the teeth from time to time (the one screaming about an ice cream immediately leaps to mind, the entitled fuck), but for the most part I enjoy playing with kids and almost never dislike children being around.
Only thing they do that gets to me is the sense of entitlement some kids have (as well as an unfortunate number of adults), which seems to give them clearance to be incredibly loud, obnoxious and demeaning. In those cases I just want to slap the kid.

I don´t hate them, i am a father after all, and whenever my boy trows a tantrum i usually get on one knee, tell him firmly "LOOK LOVE, STOP SCREAMING, I AM NOT GOING TO DO/BUY/GET WHAT YOU WANT, YOU SHOULDN'T CRY OVER SUCH SMALL THINGS, I´M NOT YOUR MOTHER AND YOU MAKING SUCH A FUSS OVER SOMETHING SO SIMPLE DOESN'T MAKE ME PITY YOU, IT ANNOYS ME AND MAKES ME ANGRY, DO YOU WANT TO MAKE ME ANGRY?"
he usually stops yelling and sobs a few times, then i ask him "you finished?, you all right now?" to which he replies by cleaning his eyes with his sleeve "yes", "seriously?", "yes"
then he will sob some more, ask me much more calmly if i can do/buy/get whatever it is he wanted and i tell him "no, love, i don´t want to/have money/think you should have that" and he cries some more, but much more calmly, then i take him in my arms and try to distract him with something else.
If he cries i console him, but if he trows a tantrum i scold him very very severely... i don´t know if i´m doing the right thing, i am a divorced man, but i realize that the kid usually haves more respect and listens more to me than his mother, who as you may have guessed would have given him the toy (or whatever) the moment he started crying
EDIT: My boy is 3 at the time, so i think its a good ground work for when he is older

Kids aren't great but as soon as they develop a decent imagination then they can be pretty cool to be around. Unless they're one of those entitled little shits who don't shut the hell up when their mother says "no".
