Normal, 15 years old. I tried inverted once but it felt so alien to me... I stopped using it.

28, inverted. It's just been like that since my first shooter, and I didn't play flightsims except X-Wing Alliance (well after playing shooters for years).

The first time a game defaulted to the non-inverted way I was confused why my aim was all wrong. And that's what it was to me: just plain wrong.

I get how starting non-inverted and getting used to it is "normal" to someone, but I don't get how moving the mouse (or analog stick...) forwards should logically move a first-person-view up. It's like steering left and expecting the car to go right "because it moves the axis, not the wheels" or something. o_O

Hell, calling it "inverted" is actually inverted...

21, don't invert normally. When playing flying games/levels inverted feels more natural, but when used for the camera it feels better to keep up... up.

Inversion feels normal for flight sims.(Pull back yoke to drop elevators, aircraft goes up)

Inversion feels weird for FPS games.(Mouse goes up, mouse icon goes up, mouse goes up, head goes up)

I'm 22. I always invert the y-axis, apart from when playing an FPS on PC when I use regular.

I am twenty one as well. I do invert my controls, but only along the X-axis. (Right is left, left is right)

Normally, flight games or flight sequences in games are usually inverted on the Y-axis (up is down, down is up) so I never feel uncomfortable with the change. However, it's only when the character is on foot that I have a problem with the inversion.

29, inverted. Now that I think about it it probably is because of flight sims. The first games that I remember playing where I had that kind of control as to what you 'see' were the 1987 Falcon game and X-Wing

Normally not inverted but sometimes I'm inverted and I'm fine unless I think about it but that's mainly Dynasty Warriors.

I am 15, and I have it inverted. The reason is that on Ratchet and Clank for the PS2, one of the very first games I owned, the default setting was inverted. I just got used to it after that. I can play on default terribly though, after like 15 minutes of getting used to it, but i really prefer inverted.

Depends on the game. Usually just stick with whichever control scheme is the default and get used to it.

21, normal for everything that isn't a plane. When it is a plane, tis me left stick that is the inverted bit. My right stick is always normal.

I am 24 and I play normal. Yes, I played some flight sim games back in the day with the y-axis inverted but that habit never carried over to FPS for me.
