Honestly, I don't remember. I measured back in high school, when the effects of puberty were still relatively recent and self-insecurity is at its peak, but it seemed painfully silly to do even then.
Still, this is the internet, and anonymity and all, so I'll pick "10+" with the unspoken implication that I'm somewhere in the ballpark of 24. it'll help my ego for a moment.

Honestly I think the interest is well rooted in insecurity. There's porn and guys with 12 inches under the hood which would make the majority feel tiny with their 10 inches (which is the most common one according to the poll). So it's reassuring to know that the average is actually closer to what us normal 10 inch guys have. I only know one guy who has admit that he has actually measured and compared to the average and he was quite happy to see that he was doing fine (he didn't reveal details of the size or what the average was).thaluikhain said:

Well, if you are 10+ then technically all of the above are indeed correct, since there are 4 inches in 10 inches, there's 5 inches in 10 inches, 6 in 10, etc.Sunrider84 said:

Average range between studies comes out roughly 5.1-6.3", with the average seemingly being right about 5.5".
If the poll comes out skewed badly away from that, then it's obvious nonsense.
The way the poll looks right now, if you took all the 10's and divided them up between 5's and 6's, that'd probably be fairly accurate.
Beware people having the tendency to exaggerate.
Beware the tendency of larger guys having the tendency to speak up more than smaller and average guys.
Self-reporting is notoriously unreliable.

I love that there's a bell curve, and then there's the people who put 10+ inches. Comparing the curve to actual averages, it looks like people are being pretty honest, though rounding up more than down (5.5 inches is about average, globally)
