I don't pay much attention to reviews in general, and I don't really consider Yahtzee to be a reviewer anyway, since reviews are supposed to be neutral and that's one thing he's most definitely not.

I watch his "reviews" because they're funny, not because they influence my decision.

Why do reviewers need to be neutral?

He means they need to come in with an unbiased and open point of view. Yahtzee plays a game looking for things to hate.

Oh good, I thought he meant they had to explain the good and the bad equally.

No not at all. Yathzee is nothing but entertaintment to me. Everygame he hates are the games that are like top 10 greatest. His veiw on fighting games is one of the most iggnorant gaming stament ive heard. Plus his whole multiplayer means nothing crap annoys me.

Fighting games are ment to play with sombody!. He lies and throws out misinformation for games he does everything. Hes not a credible reveiwe. Hes fun to watch though. Nothing more nothing less.

I think the guy is as annoying as fuck. The first time I saw one of his reviews, I was amused. The second time, it was the same schtick with same negative message. I don't even think his reviews are accurate. He's just caught up in this persona that makes him who he is, and that's it.

So, full emphatic no that any message vomited out by him influences me in any way.

I have a good reason. Most people don't have an endless bag of cash to buy every game. They don't have the time to try every game either.

That's why we rely on reviews from trusted sources and websites like metacritic.

It sucks to drop $50 or $60 on a game and find that you hate it.
