=D fire good. but I've learned my lesson... Last year I tried to catch fire (no I was not drunk, stoned or under the influence of anything else) It was a candle in a candle holder basically completely melted and I knocked it over after staring at it for awhile, panicked cause it was carpet underneath (and it's my grandma's old place) caught my pants on fire melted my hands with fire and covered them with burning wax... =D saved the carpet though... And it was awesome in the ambulance they gave me this green whistle thing that did some weird sh*t to me... I was so sad when they took it away from me too... Also played it on for longer so i got out doing as much work when working =D getting paid to stand there YAY!!!!
you are most certainly a troubled, troubled girl. have a cookie as a reward!

Fire is a one trick pony, it's clearly D-list now, and will probably never make a comeback beyond say... reality TV or something.

Now Plasma, there's the new hotness!

It's late, and I'm silly....
Plasma would be fun if I could harness it... But super-heated gas is fickle and doesn't like my very much.

Methylated Spirits and matches go well together. Reminds me of Chemistry class where we would play catch with burning paperballs.

Fire is fun as long as you keep it controlled, once it gets out of control, it turns from enjoyment to fear.

FIRE GOOD! Really I like it, fire is mans best friend(screw dogs). One of my religious holidays actually consists of making a big-ass fire...that's it. I was a huge pyro a few years back, blew a lot of stuff up, made home-made napalm, lit stuff on fire, IN CLASS, while the teacher was making us take notes. He almost noticed because of the smell. I'm not so much of a pyro anymore though, still enojoy a good fire.

Poll... bad... no options.

How do I fit in with the poll? I'm not a pyro but I know what it is and I still like watching fire. Please cut with the polls guys.
Well, at least I gave you the option to say you hate my thread.
What if I love the thread but just don't like the poll. I feel so many polls are mistreated here.

Fire is fun. It is hot and burny. In all seriousness I used to have an obsession with fire, until a few mishaps involving my brother...

I don't hate fire, but I'll admit to being a bit timid around something actually burning. Candles don't bother me, if anything I play with them by blowin' or passing my fingers through the flame, and neither do fireworks...though I like them because of the pretty light shows and sounds...

Now, heat, an often overlooked aspect of fire, is fun AND useful...it also hurts, a lot. The other day my tea kettle started to overflow so I grabbed a sheet of paper towls to clean the spill, which happened to be around an active heating element. When the towl would pass by the burner it would release a satisfying *hiss*, so I proceded to stand there playing with it for several minutes.

To all fire enthusiasts, always have a method to put the fire out, and remember water DOES NOT work with grease fires.

Happy and safe burning!

I remember when I was younger, me and my siblings were made to go to a Christingale service near Christmas (with the orange and candle and sweets on sticks) They lit the candles and after about a minute we got told to blow them out. We didn't, we spent the rest of the service roasting the marshmallows on the candle. The lecture at the end was so worth it.

We did it again the next year. Unfortunately now they use glow sticks.

Also as a scout I've burnt many things and in my chemistry lessons I smashed some felt tips that didn't work and melted them into figurines. The second my class got told were were using Bunsen burners everyone would search their bags for stuff to burn.

So far I haven't been burnt.

i have had fun with fire in my time. like the time when i was ~6 and i almost set my house on fire.

and one time i was baby sitting and got a massive stack of papers and burnt them. fire is pretty. i wouldn't ever be careless with it though. and i dont exactly ply with fire anymore.
