Poll: Forum moderators: Unfair?

Still, I think they all have "selective look-away syndrome". It's where one guy gets in trouble for something, but another guy who does the same thing gets off of the hook.

They are very very reasonable here. This is actually the only forums I go to but I have'nt seen them be unfair.

Oh I don't think they will hunt you down for this. It's nothing, anyways I'm fine with the moderators here. It's just right. I can swear if I want to, as long as I don't over do it, and I don't attack any of the users.

I've seen some unfair moderating on this site, most notably the part where users were perma banned for admitting and telling a user to use adblock in order for his computer not to lag whilst browsing the site. At the time, apparently, the rule was not made clear. The mods, however, ended up unbanning the members and making the rule more obvious.

I haven't noticed them being unfair. Every time I've seen someone get mod wrath, it's been deserved.

I've seen some questionable moderation here. Though for the most part things are tame.

Calling them gods though, even sarcastically is ridiculous.

No, I've never seen any really unfair things happen here, unlike some sites which ban you for opinions.

Also, word of warning, these threads don't usually last too long.

Generally most sites and places I've been to they're fairly abusive with their 'abilities', but on the Escapist they're all fair as can be as far as I can tell.

Just writing first or such. They ban people on Yahtzee's page for no reason at all. read the latest and see why the first four people were banned. Absolutely no reason. I condone anything that suppresses freedom of speech.

i'd say this is a fair assessment, but I also think it depends on the person, if they do it a lot or if it's just not that noticeable
