Naw, quite a lot of gamers now are in their thirties. Gaming's just a pasttime like any other. Kids play games during lunchbreak at school? Office workers do the same thing (at their office of course). Also, I know gaming's because a pretty popular hobby at quite a lot of NATO military bases (especially those of the U.S.).
Heck, Wikipedia says the average gamer is now 35 and climbing, but I'm not too sure about that statistic. What I do know, however, is that there are now more gamers over 50 than under 18.
So if you ascribe the meaning of the word "weird" as being in juxtaposition with "the norm", then no, gaming over 30 is not weird.
Honestly though, why did you make a poll out of this? This is a gaming site about games. Did you actually think that anything less than an overwhelming majority would vote "no"? 0.o
