I honestly think Sony has won. But that's not to say that microsoft will do terribly. Knowing the internet people will still buy the Xbox One for the exclusives.
And what say you now that we have the info to say that there's no DRM, trouble with second hand sales, and its priced only $50 more than the Wii U Deluxe?j-e-f-f-e-r-s said:They've yet to clarify their policy on DRM or address any of the rumours about second-hand sales beyond "We're leaving it up to publishers". They've yet to announce price. There are still plenty of ways Sony could fuck this up.
Brewtus said:Not with the exclusives list side by side it won't. And not with how MS' rep with indie games on XBLA is versus what we saw with Sony and the PSN. It'd still be decently in Sony's favour.Brotha Desmond said:Sony did win, but if Microsoft came out tomorrow and said no DRM, no online requirement, and we're charging $399 the whining would cease and it would be a nearly even race again.Charli said:![]()

Sony just did to MS what they did to the Sega Saturn years ago with the PSOne.
-$100 cheaper
-Has games
-Has actual 3rd party support
-Isn't hurting retailers
Greed. Being highly paid just means they see money as their due, not something they should earn.rednose1 said:Yep, Sony won.
They won so handily, I am somewhat suspcious. My current tinfoil hat theory is that someone at Microsoft sabotaged the Xbone and handed Sony this console generation in return for cash/future position promises. Seriously, how could highly paid CEO's have signed off on the rancid buzzard vomit that is the Xbone?
