I've bought the PC version. But I never thought about boycotting the game anyway; I understand their concerns, it just doesn't bother me that much. Maybe because I don't subscribe to the whole PC vs. Console thing.

No I did not buy it. I played the first one, and it was just an overpraised average at best FPS thats only achievement was being competent. I was not looking forward to this game at all but I was considering giving it a fair chance at least to see what the hubub was about, but their screw up with the PC version is the nail in the coffin. I cannot be bothered to pay for a game with sub par multiplayer service on my platform of choice.
for all the people who said wait and see how it works. Well youtube has vids of the way it works from ppl who actually bought it (& are regretting it).
I'm probably not going to get it for a while, I don't see what the big deal is. But if I were to preorder it, I would probably get the console version
Didn't buy it. My friend said he'll lend me it after he completes the SP so I can as well. They fucked up majorly, there should be an option for "Yes, down with activision/IW!!"

Seems to me that all the PC gamers are complaining about no dedicated servers when console gamers put up with that issue all the time. Honestly, stop acting like you're entitled to it.

So many people think that it's "selling out" or whatever to buy this game, but seriously, all of the fucking FANBOYS who LIVE playing it online... (while playing online is fucking fun) why not just buy something for the campaign for once? Just wait till the price goes down or whatever

Killstreaks are worse - there's a fucking helicopter rapecannon thing that highlights enemies in red and then lets you pwn them from the air. I saw 16 kill streaks from that alone, complete with people being spawnkilled before they could do anything. Plus you can get high powered killstreak rewards fairly often from supply drops that you can get for as little as a three kill streak. It's awful.
Strawberry jam - they had the great idea of showing 'blood stains' over your vision when you get shot. It looks awful, it's like someone smeared a camera with strawberry jam, and it's so frustrating when you can't see anything because of it - it's classic Interface Screw [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main.InterfaceScrew], and no that's not a good thing. Plus it's ridiculous - you jump off a ledge that's too high and *bam* there's strawberry jam, I mean blood, all in your eyes for some reason. LOL.
And apart from that, it's pretty much just like MW1. Yeah, I'll save a ton of cash and just play MW1, and it will be better.
