I read too much. At the moment 3-4 books a week. Random stuff, varying from history to science fiction and fantasy.

I'm a second year history student at university. My course is pretty much exclusively reading.

When I'm not trawling through a dozen volumes on a specific subject, I enjoy science-fiction and fantasy novels.

That will have to wait though, at least until I churn through the 7 remaining texts on the Falklands War that are sitting 2 feet to my right, in order to write an essay about it.

Usually reading every now and then. Gotta love those TCP/IP textbooks ;D. But I also read a lot of books on warfare or whatever tickles my fancy.

I'm an English Major. So yes lots. It's been a while since I've been able to read a book that I chose. With all the analysing and note taking it takes a little longer to get through one. I don't mind so much, I get to read plenty of great books that I wouldn't normally have even bothered with. Exposed to much more. I really like it most of the time. Only thing is normally for retail therapy or procrastination I would go and buy myself a book. It was a habit.

I pretty much go to a book store and then pick out something that looks interesting. There's not a lot of pattern to the madness. Occasionally I'll hear about a book and then buy it.

Don't read that many books anymore. I occasionally go back to reading Harry Potter. But that's very rarely nowadays.

I enjoy reading a lot, but due to the high speed at which I do so I go through them extremely quickly and so frequently run out of things to read.
Same, an average sized sci-fi or fantasy is done in 2 days to a week. I buy a book and I finish it before I know what's hit me. It is so sad. And pricey.

Read every day, usually getting through 2 books per week. I normally read Science Fiction and Fantasy Horror, my favourite authors being H.P.Lovecraft and Edgar Allen Poe. However I only read in private, something about reading in 'cafe bars' screams pretentiousness.

Hundreds of books a year. Recently I've been reading more for university than pleasure, which means I've been reading sampled classics from various genres (urgh)

By choice I read light hearted fantasy, which in practice means I read books apparently for children. Screw you oppressive Waterstone's labelling system, just because I don't think every book needs to end with the death of depression of every named character doesn't mean I'm still a child.

I'd like to say that I read a lot, but I've been so busy with working and stuff the last few years that I don't read as much as I used to. When I do find a good book, or a series, I grab them all up and just tear through them.

I read a lot, not as much as I would like to now, since work and University are taking much of my time, bue, at least 1 book per week.

As a kid, I used to spend all my spare time reading. Unfortunately, I've more or less run out of books.
Still, if reading software documentation and programming tutorials, as well as online news counts for anythong, then I still read a lot.

I Read so much in high school it bordered on the ridiculous. I think I was the only child in that highschool to ever get in trouble for reading a novel in class. Of course, now that I am in college it is getting balanced out with a large amount of western RPG!

Not much. About all I can read is Stephen King, the dude that wrote the Alex Rider books (used to read those), and the Splinter Cell/Endwar Tom Clancy books. A few others here and there too.

I don't get to as much as I'd like, but I still read daily.

I mostly read non-fiction (biographies, historical and religious stuff).
As for fiction, I enjoy "classic" horror and sci-fi, Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris, epic poems, Shakespeare and manga. I always enjoy revisiting books from my childhood for light reading (Redwall series, Where The Red Fern Grows, et al).

Currently re-reading The Trial of the Templars by Malcolm Barber.

It depends on if I happen to find a really good book series (like The Hunger Games books). I also read a lot of manga, so I suppose I'd count that. I'd say that I read a lot.

I don't read books often, as I have a hard time finding books that keep my interest. I read things on the internet quite often, probably between 2 & 3 hours a day.
