Poll: Is It Weird When Men Love Cats?

I love cats. I also love dogs. I tend to appreciate dogs more than cats, but I have a picture of me somewhere that sort of shows I don't discriminate too much... I uploaded it just for this thread. See how much I care?

nah. i prefer cats over dogs, myself. they are a lot more chilled out, for one. cats like to play, but they also like to lounge, same as me. also, im not a big fan of getting licked, and cats dont really do that. they keep their tongues to themselves, for the most part. i also like that cats shit in a box and bury it. all you have to do is shovel it into the trash. and cats dont freaking leap all over you with their massive weight (weight that they dont really have) and they dont bark... other than those weird cats on youtube that bark.

the only dog i would choose over a cat would be a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

So I'm weird, then?
I don't hate dogs as much as I used to, but I can't stand that dog who sometimes barks at me from behind a hedge where I can't see it and it's looking at me with its X-ray vision whenever I walk by that house. (A few times, I was mad enough to give that dog the finger.) I pretty much avoid most dogs like the plague, but I have seen some really adorable ones who did not look like they would murder me in a horrific manner and put my head on a stake (not necessarily in that order).
And, yes, if you haven't already guessed by the fact that I posted it here, I am a guy, I do love cats, and I know other males who do as well.

lol well no your not weird youve just never met a dog outside its territory(thats why they bark at you i should have said earlier i love my cat but she acts like a dog and plays with my dogs...so idk if that counts lol

This is one of the stupidest gender stereotypes I have ever heard of (and I just read it for the first time)

If it applied, women would be keeping cats, while the big manly man has a giant Rottweiler or something (not to compensate for anything, god no), which means that the big manly man can never visit the woman because the Rottweiler would do mean things with the cats, right?

I am a real cat person, to the point where you start making weird noises in the vicinity of a feline, but on the other hand, I would keep a flamingo as a pet if that was what I really wanted, because f*** gender, that's why!

The longest recorded human live was a French woman who made it to 122.

Also, cats are getting so old now that they develop alstimers. Scientists are studying them to try and find a cure for both cats and humans.

I agree with the people who think this is an absolutely ridiculous gender norm. No, it wouldn't be a turn-off if a guy says he likes cats. To be quite honest, anyone who tells me straight up they dislike cats is never getting invited to my house and I'm probably going to limit my time with them. I guess I'm a cat partisan.

(Though I swear that my Osama could convert any cat-disliker (provided they're the type that likes dogs but dislikes cats because they find them standoffish), he treats any human being in his vicinity like they're the greatest thing that ever walked.)

but i dont like having cats around. i prefer dogs.
but i like cats.
its really just that i'm massively allergic to them.
