NANI??!!!

Highjacking this JoJo train!

Its Joseph and I'll tell you why. Not because of posing. Not because of his unpredictability. Its because he understands the true power of Coca Cola!

Pfft nobody understands the true power of cola more than Franky! He's a cola powered cyborg for cripes sake :p

I'd have to say either Spike Spiegel, Batou or Motoko Kusanagi. Yes, Motoko is a woman, but she's manlier and more awesome than most of the anime men I've seen.

You're all wrong!

Kintaro Oe from Golden Boy is the ultimate man.

Has any other man ever rode his bike across power lines just to get a piece of ass? I think not.
Someday, he might even become an astronaut! Damn that show was a riot.
If there's a woman on a space station somewhere with man issues, you bet your ass!

Haha, I hate to break it to some of you but as much as I like Berserk/Guts and think he is a good choice being able to wield a sword that ridiculously massive is a super power.
It's a super power, but it's a super power he aquired through years of training - He didn't get it because of a freak accident, or because of a cursed item. He's still fighting demons with nothing but his own human strength.

Cmon, it's gotta be Kamina. He was an inspiration to me. Seriously... He is the man.

Aside from Goku I don't know who any of the people on that list are...

But the answer is Paul from Sgt. Frog. Just look at that mustache!

Back to my Gamagori example, sorry you're basing a Kill la Kill character manliness level by their clothing? I don't think you thought that through but if you're sure... The sheer dedication to the whole living shield thing is manly enough for me alongside the fact that he actually tried to fight Satsuki when they first met. No mere human fights Satsuki, it's practically suicide.
But if you recall
Sangeyama and Inumuta also got their positions by directly opposing Satsuki (albeit Inumuta opposed her in an indirect way

But no I am talking about his fighting style (which, in this show does involve the outfits). He primarily uses long range attacks while focusing entirely on defensive moves and whipping himself like Satsuki's personal *****, that isn't not very manly. Armstrong Punch things, he punches people, he punches rocks, he punches the ground, if it exists; he will punch it. Kamina focuses on being so incredibly manly he defies all logic and reason, also manly. Whipping yourself while crying about how much you like the pain? Not so much.

I have to change my vote. I was going to go with either kenshiro or guts, but my vote goes to....

Hanma Yujiro!

If you know this name you know just how manly this guy is.

This guy would beat the shit out of Guts!! The only person who I think would be a good match for him would be akuma!

I'll endorse this as well, but it should be borne in mind that Armstrong is the only manliest man. His sister, on the other hand, thinks he's a snivelling cry-baby. So the case could be made that she would win the 'manliest' competition hands down :)

Toriko. Why? First thing you see him do is fishing with a 3" thick piece of rebar, elevator cable for the line, and he lights a cigar by making his fingers spark by snapping them. Not by special power, by friction. Then he pulls up a giant fish, which gets caught by a bird that he kill by punching it.

He accidentally split a building in half, vertically, and left a crater along the way.

He hunts and kills giant animals with his bare hands that he often winds up eating in massive quantities.

He got his hand bitten off by an opponent. So he punched them with the still bleeding stump.

This guy is manliness incarnated!

Obviously it's Goomoonryong.
Not only is he the strongest of all the martial arts world, he also smokes! Which is something I bet all your wimpy guys don't even. Haven't seen anyone mention it atleast.

He also chats up all the hotties, which is manly! And then when he has to choose between gettin' 100% for sure laid, or saving some idiot kid, he saves the kid because he's a good guy, and that's manly!

He also once kicked someone's arm off. Soooo MANLY!
