Question, how many bullets are in the gun? Because if he/she killed someone in my family in a gruesome/horrific/painful way, that ************ isn't getting a quick and painless death. Second, no, I don't have any personal feelings of vengence toward that person, unless they did it in an exteamly cruel/vile/torturing way, then they'd get a bullet between their eyes.

I don't have many family members I talk to, but if someone killed my cousin, they'd be begging for me to shoot them in the head instead of what I'd do to them.

I do not fit any of your options, if this kind fellow is going to prision and I am allowed to kill him without issue I would do the right think and shoot his shoulders and knees. Let him enjoy prison with a disability.

I have no problem killing people if there is a good cause, see murderer who is about to shoot innocent people. After the deed was done I am sure I would have to come to terms and such, but at least it served a purpose.

What about shooting him in the back so the bullet is lodged. He either has to live with full paralysis of his body or undergo risky surgery that is more than likely going to kill him. Would that be too much?

OT: No... and yes. If he's in jail forever no. If not and he poses a risk yes. But I'd rather go with 2fish's idea of fucking up his life altogether with paralysis.

I would first beat this person until they beg for forgiveness. Then I would continue beating them well into the night, and end them by putting every bullet and sharp object I have at my disposal into their body.
It's my personal belief that anyone who ruins someone else's life in such a serious manner as murdering them in cold blood deserves to die.

Scenario 1:
I already have the murderer tied up for me? Well by killing them back I gain nothing. By spending the next few years, (20 to 30,) slowly torturing them to no end, only to abandon them somewhere well outside of civilization, but where they could survive alone, I grow as a person and they learn a valuable lesson.

Scenario 2:
I'd call the authorities. I don't want to see a murderer go free, but I don't have any reason to teach them a lesson if they didn't wrong me.

I'd turn the arms, legs, and family jewels into swiss cheese, while setting it up so that it'd be plausible in court to argue that the evidence shows that he did it himself, then let the authorities deal with him/her.

I have no qualms with killing, life is worthless and the pain of those that loved him bothers me not.
