I don't get this whole 'drought' thing either. There's far too many good titles being released, or at least a solid handful of ones that are very engaging and stuffed with content. How do people burn through games that fast? I'm still playing Witcher 3. Anyway, Fallout 4. Also Xenoblade X, Star Fox Zero, Pokken Tournament, MGS:V, and Street Fighter V.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. Although I'm going to have to play it on my laptop since the Vita gets a release date but the PS3 version is still up in the air.

And of course Fallout 4, although I doubt I can run it.

A drought of releases, not really of content. There's been so much damn stuff this year to play that the typical July/August drought wasn't really there. I'm still playing Witcher 3 (not even found Ciri yet!) and I haven't even got to Level 20 in Splatoon.

Those are a lot of big names listed but I can't say I'm actually hyped about any of them.

Voted Other:

StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void
Really looking forward to playing through the campaign and going for it's more challenging achievements as alternate means of beating the stages. I'm not into the multiplayer aspect of this franchise but as far as RTS campaigns are concerned, SC2 has knocked it out of the park.

Rock Band 4
I can't afford to buy the console or new equipment for this game alone so I won't actually be playing it. That said, Rock Band 1-3 make up my all time favorite game ever. I'm psyched to see this franchise return and hope to one day get my hands on it a few years from now.

Darkest Dungeon
I've heard magnificent things about this game and look forward to it's official launch this year.

Another vote for Shadowrun: Hong Kong, out tomorrow! :D
I keep telling myself that I should be patient and wait for it to go on a sale, but... I came out of Dragonfall immediately wanting to replay it. I'm not sure I'm going to hold out.

None of those on the list really appeal to me, other than Shadowrun I think the only game that I'm looking forwards to this year is Persona 5

Ah, I see. Gotcha. I usually play the hell outta my current games and backlog before moving on to new stuff. It has been slow for big name releases. I just finished Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, and been getting into a bit of Killing Floor 2.

Well as someone who only owns a Nintendo WiiU, then it has to be none on the list.
The MarioMaker isn't really my thing as I never mod anything (made a few Warcraft III maps but that's all) and am not into Minecraft for example. The games I look forward to are XenobladeChroniclesX and StarFox WiiU.
I haven't really been following if anything else interesting is coming out.

To be honest I'd buy Mario Maker just for the amount of levels it's going to bring alone. There's been so many cool level ideas from just the small amount of people with review copies alone, imagine what it'll be like when it's out. That and the content creator is so far away from 'modding' in terms of difficulty, making a level is 10x easier than even Little Big Planet, it's crazy. Of course if you're not interested in Mario platforming that makes sense, but don't discredit it as a game based entirely around building.

XCOM 2 & Fallout 4.

XCOM 2 especially. Enemy Within is something I'm still playing none-stop, and to get some more of that is just what I need.

Tales of Zestiria
Star Fox Zero
Persona 5

If I wasn't going to buy the Collector's Edition of Tales of Zestiria, I would have the system to play it when it comes to the US... :p

OK this is a good review... Thanks Toastie!
I enjoy mario and I have the original one DL:ed from the Eshop, and is one of the games I always go back to for a 15-20 minute run when I'm bored. Seems like I'll have to have a deep second thought about MM.

Maybe Kingdom Come though I doubt I'll be able to run it well. I actually had to webcrawler a list of upcoming releases and nothing even raised a flutter of excitement.

Persona 5 has me fucking stoked.

I've also been waiting what feels like a century for Fallout 4. I've avoided news so far, and I intend to keep it that way. It's going to be a good, good year.
Get the fuck out of my head.

Ahem, but yes, this. Will also probably buy XCOM 2 later, but it will definitely have to wait until after my 90 hours plus Persona play through and my 3 different Fallout 4 completed saves.

I honestly don't know what I'm going I do with two 100 hour games on my plate. Especially when I've waited years for each. I only just beat bloodborne. Oh dear, I'm afraid I'm going to be quite busy.

I'm pretty damn hyped that SOMA is almost here! And HOLY SHIT FALLOUT 4!!!

Rise, i'm excited for, but also nervous, since a lot of rumors have been going around about it's partial exclusivity and whatnot, so if it's available for the PC on steam, i'm hyped as fuck, but right now i'm reserving my hype until i'm sure my heart won't be broken by some publisher exclusivity bullshit.
Rise is only a Timed Exclusive. PC users will get it a couple of months after its Xbox release date. It's PS4 gamers who have to wait a whole year to be able to play it.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is the one I'm the most hyped for. I enjoyed the reboot immensely, and being a long time Tomb Raider fan, I'm just glad to see Lara Croft be relevant again. I don't have a Xbox One so I'll have to settle for the Xbox 360 port for now. Why on earth it's coming out on the Xbox 360, I don't know, but I'm definitely not going to complain about it.

I really hope Mad Max turns out good. Mario Maker looks neat.

Sure as heck not gonna spend money on Battlefront 3, not with how EA has ruined it. Halo Guardians doesn't have splitscreen, so that's out.
