Whenever I see one of those annoying-as-fuck "age verification" things, my birth date is January 1st on whatever year is at the bottom of the drop-down menu after I click the scroll bar down twice.

Fastest possible way to get past them. Never given a damn about them, never will.

I only lie to go on video game sites or watch trailers. The risk is far too high to even try watching porn. I never know when my parents over hovering over me. I'd be too distracted and scared to get anything done.

Yeah, I can be honest with you lot, despite being old enough to buy M-rated games and see R-rated movies alone, that's 17 even though it's not listed on my thingy, I got in the habit of using my ex-girlfriend's birthday for stuff. So, as far as violent game trailers goes, I'm 19!

But yeah, I lie on that stuff. Not only that, but it helps that I look like I'm 20-something.

On websites I used to lie, because it's not like I was ever gonna get tracked down and fine for going on a "adult" site.
In real life, I've never really had to show proof of age.Though, I did just recently see Paranormal Activity and that was the first time I was ever carded to verify my age.

I used to think that it would detect if your were obviously lieing about your age. I can't imagine what a 70+ woman would be doing looking at the God of War/whatever site UNLESS and this is the only conceivable reason that comes to mind, that she's one of those "must spy on childs interests and always take away the worst possible impression from my observations" days.

I still lie on some of them (specifically, the ones that ask for your birthdate), because I'm paranoid.

I'm 21, so I don't need to. Not that I watch porn anyway - I find it quite boring.

In fact, I can only remember lying about my age once, to get Soul Calibur 2. I was 15, and in Britain they'd just changed from the ELSPA ratings system to PEGI - and the 15+ rating had been changed to 16+. Bastards. Anyway, I got the game. Maybe it's that whole "premature greying" thing.

I never actually lied about my age when buying alcohol in pubs when I was underage, they just never ID'd me. Yaay.

I'm 26, so I don't need to worry. That said, as a matter of laziness I'll generally leave the day and month at the default setting and just scroll down to my real year of birth.

I'm 22, but even though I'm of legal age, I still lie about it in such a validation test, because I can't be arsed to give it my real birthday, I'll pick any day, and any month, and then just scroll the year down and give it something past the eighties.
