I was under the impression that "QQ" originally came from Warcraft 3, where it was the quick way to quit a game.

OT: Futurama has almost made me cry at times, notably "robots can't go to heaven" from the Beast with a Billion Backs, and I came close to crying during Castaway when Wilson floated away. The closest a game has come to making me cry was the ending of Red Dead Redemption.

Last time I cried, it was at my grandmother's funeral. But I came damn close to it while watching Requiem for a Dream and Defendor.

I have not cried for nearly eight years and I do not intend to break that streak.
Crying is a waste of time anyway. Sitting there sobbing isn't going to fucking fix anything.

Same here, I loved the books and the conclusion was fantastically tear-wrenching. There were other parts in the series that pulled a tear, also, but the ending was great.

Up was close, so was that episode of futurama and old yeller, but the only one that actually got me:

Where the Red Fern Grows

unbelievably sad, both the book and the movie

The ending of 'stranger in a Strangeland' not because how he died but why.
I know it's an old book, but really? I just started fucking reading this. Spoiler tags exist for a reason.

lets see, I cried during alot of books.

I cried during Big Daddy, when they take the kid away and the kid doesn't understand whats going on. (fucking adam sandler always has that tear jerker moment in his movies)

lets see, I also cried during the Harry Potter book deathly hallows but not the movie...dunno maybe I was too spoiled to care as much.

Edit: Damn also other posters reminded me, Toy Story 3, Futurama, and Up

I cannot remember the last time anything has brought me to tears.
Not because I'm manly, that sure as hell isn't true, mostly because I'm emotionally dead.

I have only cried once as a result of some form of media, and it was at the end of The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. Anyone who has read it knows why; the last chapter of that book is like getting punched in the gut with sadness. I still get chills thinking about the last sentence.

Let's try this, see how many get at least a little moisture.
I didn't cry at that, but damn its a powerful song. I loved the quote from the NIN lead singer. "It's not my song anymore, Johnny Cash made that song his." you can really feel like Johnny is singing his entire life in one song. Good artist and powerful performance.

Clannad/Clannad After Story
This. I'm pretty emotional, so I cried countless times during Clannad. Even on my many, many rewatches, I still cry at it all the time.

Other animes I've cried at include Toradora!, Angel Beats!, (that one episode of) Lucky Star, Bokurano, Evangelion, and many, many more.

Quite a lot of cry occasionally votes, I was a little suprised about those results. I just dwell on sad times and make myself feel more miserable, but I don't really cry.

Reading Tuesdays with Morrie made me cry twice--and is the only book that has ever made me cry. As far as I know, movies have never made me cry, though I have been known to get a bit misty eyed for a few moments.

The most recent thing to do this was actually this fanfiction. [http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6211518/1/It_Could_Be_Worse] It's one of those classic TF2, SniperxSpy romance fanfics, but the character development, story, and expert pacing astounded me to know end. It truly moved me, in ways that many "real" books were not able to. Needless to say, highly recommended if you want to read one of the best fanfictions out there.
