For extra bonus points, this game cost over $400,000 to make.
So I've come to learn.

When I see projects like this I almost wish someone would find something with which one could levy criminal charges against those involved.

I personally can't speak on whatever 'things' Wu may or may not have done previously, of which seemingly earned her quite a lot of animosity and praise, but I will openly speak up about this bullshit. She and her cohorts are as scummy as they get. Especially if they're using the real trauma of bullying and harassment to garner profits for their project.

That is not how citations work. If someone asks you for a source, you give them the damn source.

"Go through her twitter" is not a damn source.
This also isn't high school debate class, so who cares. It's a dumb internet argument about dumb internet stuff, it's fairly irrelevant who's right or who believes what. Not to mention that the guy requesting sources already put it upon himself to go though Wu's 6 million tweets, so you're late to the party anyway.

Not that anyone should ever need a source on "Devs on Greenlight ask their fans to upvote them", it's obviously par for the course. Why wouldn't you remind people interested in your game that they should also tell that to Steam so that they can actually buy it?

Art style isn't for me, and from I read the mechanics are dull and the story uninspired. I'll pass. Best of luck though.

I don't care.

I don't think I want to play this game, I don't want to upvote or downvote this game or anything. Ignoring it is the best case of action if it's a poorly made game with very little room for improvement and perhaps slightly shady developer actions.

It's Steam Greenlight so whatever happens happens.

As for all the Gamergate stuff that is apparently tied into this game I REALLY don't care cause holy shit, does Gamergate just annoy me. Seriously, it's all founded on bullshit I don't want to touch with a 60-foot pole.

This is like a shovelware game, right?
Why does anyone give two shits about the dev.
I mean literally, Who cares about that person.
Though I will say I saw this
And while this literally seconds before noticing this thread is still alive, this really doesn't seem to matter.
If someone literally needs to spark up controversy to help continue their failed game I doubt their next game will be good enough to pass the bar.
And if it does, free fucking market men
[edit] also who is lame enough to insult themselves like that "terrible person", man that's a lame insult [/edit]

After watching the trailer I have to say that, looks..bad. I mean really bad.

EDIT: Why do I get the feeling after reading some comments on page 2 that I might have stepped into something that was about more than this game being green lit?

Actually people knew who she was since she did release Revolution 60 on the Ipad. Some reviews are dated before this whole GG stupidity started.

Check the dates on those.

And congratulations you managed to completely prove them right. There were actual death threats against her, she was forced out of her house by doxxers and stalkers, there was an insane man who crashed his mom's car on his way to her house. She alerted the police in Massachusetts. I am guessing all the harassment is true since the police really hate being sent on wild goose chases. And the courts aren't very happy with it either:

Also if criticism is something along the lines of: "She is manipulating people with her vagina, is insane and needs to go back to the kitchen and not make videogames" than yea I am quite happy she doesn't respond to you.

And what does Patreon have to do with anything? If anything it proves that GG is nothing more than a few thousand people at most, not a "consumer revolt" (pfft as if).

Edit: The Patreon money goes to her company, to hire women in tech advocacy- AKA people to sort through the BS she goes through.

I really don't care about this game, as loads of shit games have ended up on Steam, however I must point out some false information that has been going around. It has been repeatedly proven that she never left her home, even in recent interviews she did, it was clear that she was living in the exact same place.

Also the guy who crashed his car is a known troll and was doing that simply for attention.

OK to all the people that derailed, have fun in your imaginary lands. Oh and that guy who crashed that car, that isn't troll behavior. That is a sick person who needs help.

Edit: I asked if you were interested in her game, not in your interest in conspiracy theories and unproven allegations.

How many hashtags has your side started that ended up bombing again?
What 'side' would that be?

Because the neat thing about not supporting GamerGate is that you don't have to take a 'side', nor accept responsibility for what anyone on a particular 'side' does.
