Poll: Should Halo be on PC and/or PS3

If I didn't have a 360, I'd love for it to be on either my PC or PS3.
But since I have a 360, and am going to buy the game, I don't really care.
(By the way, some of those poll options are pretty spastic)

No, but I think Fable: The Lost Chapters should be remade for the Wii and maybe the PlayStation Move. Add a nice sword motion and bow and arrow motion etc. Microsoft don't have anything to lose, they'll get more sales of an old game that wouldn't cost much to port and they'd generate more interest in Fable II and III, from people who might not otherwise even know about the franchise.

Why is there no option for I don't care either way, I only play halo when I go over to a friends house who has an Xbox, otherwise I just have a PS3 and PC, Halo is the only worthwhile exclusive on Xbox.

On topic, no. I played it at a friends house, and hated it. Plus, without Halo the xbox wouldn't really have its' flagship. Apart from Gears and Forza, everything else would be on the PS3 as well, and as much as I'd love that, (PS3 owner) it wouldn't be fair.

The thing of it is halo is xboxs flagship title like mario is for nintendo it just wouldnt work on ps3. I can kind of understand me 2 going to ps3 boost its chance for goty but thats it.

In the same way that Metal Gear was the flagship of playstation perhaps?

Being that Halo is developed by Microsoft itself, no, it won't ever be on the PS3. SHOULD it be, not really.

PC, probably, but we'll have to wait and see, I wouldn't count on it though.

Yeah, but as far as the newer Halo games, Microsoft certainly hasn't been in any hurry to release Halo 3 on PC. We now have 3 newer Halo games on the market (Wars, ODST, and Reach) and they still haven't released even Halo 3 on PC. So I wouldn't hold my breath for any PC ports, although it may make Halo Wars a bit better.

Again, this is exactly why I wouldn't hold my breath for the ports. Halo 2 was released on PC after 3 years. Its already been 3 years since Halo 3, and there's not even been an announcement. Also, again, there have been 3 new Halo games since then, so porting Halo 3 or any of the others doesn't seem to be much of a high priority.

The story is boring with no interesting characters. The multiplayers community is just a pain to listen to and the only redeeming feature to the game is forge.

you just described the entire FPS genera. except for forge mode. it's fun to make maps that no one plays correctly

KillZone has an amazing story. The Helghast have an extremely rich history. Half life has a great story and characters despite being very old and Timesplitters is just simply and unrelentlessly fun. 3 amazing series of FPS games.

PC at least. The original Halo was great on the PC. Halo is a game made for dedicated servers!

Well, I don't think it should, but it would be nice for it to be on PC. Halo 1 and 2 are already on there, so why not include 3 and ODST.
Now for the PS3, no, just no. There would be no point in doing so.

Well some years later, halo 2 emerged for PC, back when windows vista was new.

My previous posts have already expanded on this point. Short version: 3 years + 3 NEW Halo games = PC Port unlikely. IMO, of course.
