There are quite a few, but most exclusives aren't worth buying a PS3 for. For instance, Haze isn't. Killzone isn't. MGS4 maybe, if your a fan.
Wow, you bring up the shittiest exclusive the PS3 had (except maybe lair). But I have a PS3 for Gran Turismo, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, free online and most blockbusters that 360 had that went to PS3 or were on PS3 from the start, such as Ninja Gaiden 2 which you said was a 360 exclusive, which it no longer is, and the PS3 version will have more content. Have fun thinking the PS3 is somehow less superior and you're not missing anything. Which you are. Alot of things.

Well that was informational. Thanks to all of you people for helping me with my problem. One of the best answers I received was to keep the Wii, and save up for a new system. Thanks a lot to all of you for helping me! xD
Ah, so you wouldn't be interested in trading my 360 for your Wii provided you were in the Milwaukee area. Oh well. Back to Craigslist for me.

I've actually had enough of you dickheads.

Stop taking my words out of context, you make me look as bad as you. I said before the PS3 and the 360 are JUST AS GOOD. They have varying differences, and varying faults. I was just naming the only exclusive PS3 titles I knew.

Christ. It's like you people through your toys out of the pram on purpose to get attention. IT'S A GAMES CONSOLE. GET OVER IT. Last time I checked, we were helping this guy make a decision, not acting like 13 year old girls.

I've actually had enough of dickheads like you, don't make a comment like
"There are quite a few, but most exclusives aren't worth buying a PS3 for. For instance, Haze isn't. Killzone isn't. MGS4 maybe, if your a fan."
If you don't know the damn exclusives at all as you said. Not only are the exclusives worth buying a PS3 for, but I get *most* 360 games that people refer to as a "good game."

Now I'm gonna go play Valkyrie Chronicles, a sad gem from last Fall that was overlooked by everyone including most PS3 owners.

Damn straight. Mods are the main reason I will always love PC games more than console games. If you have a decent PC, then the PS3 has the other games that don't make it to PC.
The problem with mods aside from the horrible controls is that they are illegal to make. You clearly don't care about games or there well being if you play mods all the time. Being a gamer means giving back to the people that made it. If your favorite game doesn't sell well and you are disappointed because there is no sequel and you play mods, you have no one to blame but yourself. So if you like games, please give back to the developers. How would you feel if your hard work was plagiarized and put everywhere for free?

Also true, i'm on a little budget though.
If your on a tight budget and you like FPS sell it and get a 360. Nintendo is already talking about a price cut witch means buying it back would cheaper. If you sold it you might get $200. If you bough one used after the price cut it would run you around $175. Witch means you could pull a small profit. Note that these numbers are estimates. And I have no reason to believe any of them are true. So you people should consider that before you fill up my inbox.

Do you use your Wii? Are you looking forward to any future releases? Do you collect consoles? Do you think another console has games you would like better?

A console is only worth the games on it.

read this please, the whole thing
Done.

But as interesting as it was to read about TEV and the Wii's untapped potential (and the Factor 5 hypocrisy, since they complained about the Wii's hardware before they went on to develop the crap known as Lair) I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to tell me.
it was just a response to everyone who thinks that the wii is just a cube(or even a ps2) with a shiny white casing and motion controls
also trying to spread the idea that there actually is more to wii than is being used (with real evidence and logic rather than just quoting galaxy and brawl again and again)

as for lair, even if it was shit, it was known to have very decent graphics and technically good, also that was for ps3

Wii Processer = Gamecube processer, ditch the gamecube dressing up as a white PS2 and get a PS3 because of the free online and lack of red rings.
The gamecube was considerably better (both in processing and general gaming) then the ps2, however if you do truly wish to sell your little box of fun times with others then go for a ps3 at least, xbox 360 is fail in more ways I care to mention.

The Xbox 360 would be a recommended route to take. Due to... it not costing an arm and a leg.

I keep my Wii around for my sisters, though. They seem to enjoy it.

Never sell a piece of hardware. That's just a crime, no matter how crappy it is.
Besides, you'll never know when you'll want to play something other than twitchy ADHD shoot-'em-ups.

...unless you're some sort of a chemically imbalanced freak that needs to be locked up in a padded cell somewhere.

I like the 360 myself. 90% of the games I want come out for it, it has a huge multiplayer so I always have people to play with, and it's all around fun. I've never gotten the RRoD, and I've had it since the get-go.

So I suggest 360, but it's your choice.

I'm sorry, what? What do you think mods are? And you call yourself the god of... um... "game 67". >_>

The modding community has been supported by a great majority of the First-Person Shooter developers as far back as 1993-1994, when it was originally popularized through Doom. Today Valve with their Steam system can be considered the greatest supported of game modding.

And only the mods can be put out for free, legally. People still need the original software in order to actually run the mod.

Do you like shmups and obscure games? The Wii is easily the go to console for both, with Castle Shikigami 3, Radio Allergy, Karous, and all the countless shmups on the VC.

Also, Muramasa(Vanillaware(Odin Sphere)'s next game) is just around the corner, and it looks great.

I said 360, but I had to think. The PS3's having a good year, but the 360's got all the DLC and Mass Effect two is on the horizon. Also it's still a heck of a lot cheaper. Just keep the receipt.

God. You people argue way to much, so I'm just gonna' stop this little flaming war now. I pointed out the games you SHOULDN'T buy a PS3 for. Not the games you should. I was trying to help the person who bought this thread make a descision, and I wouldn't want him buying a PS3 just for those exclusives.

I don't have as much of a wide knowledge of games as much as you lot, so I just picked the exclusives I knew. Sorry for not basing my life upon games like you.

If you want to continue arguing like a school child, send me a message. Stop making morons out of the both of us in public.

I'm pretty sure its only the first generation of 360s that had the massive failure rate (33%.. oof..) but after that they did some upgrades and fixed it up. I have not had one problem with my second-hand £100 360 after having it for more than a year and having a 10-hour gaming spree every weekend.
I don't think the RRoD is a criticism that can be levelled at the 360 anymore.
As for the Wii.. the motion controls suck, honestly, and that is severely limiting its potential at the moment. But when the Wii MotionPlus comes out.. expect good things! Don't give up on it just yet.
If nothing great comes out of the Wii MotionPlus then.. Yeah, Nintendo will be dead to me.

Fortunately, all my favorite games use traditional controls.

The only games I've played that use the remote controls well are No More Heroes and Trauma Center.

I was referring to the appearence of the Small PS2 looking like a black Wii.
