I know who they are and where they of them live (most of them anyway). That's about it, I'm not exactly the most sociable person and they leave me well enough alone. Don't see much of them.
Are you implying that gay people aren't usually nice? D:Vesuvius Hetlan said:A few. My next-door neighbors are actually gay, but they're really nice.
Nope. I'm implying that they're some of the nicest, kindest people I've ever met.Dags90 said:Are you implying that gay people aren't usually nice? D:Vesuvius Hetlan said:A few. My next-door neighbors are actually gay, but they're really nice.
I figured that, I just like poking fun at grammatical ambiguities.Vesuvius Hetlan said:Nope. I'm implying that they're some of the nicest, kindest people I've ever met.
Sorry. It was badly worded.
Are you saying you'd have clicked on a thread named "Do you know your neighbours"? The guy knows how to get attention.MrFluffy-X said:i hate most of my neighbors, but why is the lesbian part relevant?:s
God I miss knowing almost all my neighbours. Yeah almost all the kids on the block were guys but I will be damned if I didn't have a blast growing up. Most of the people on my block have moved. I still know quite a bit of the people on the block but tis not like it use to be. The family that I guess held us together well after they moved neighbours stopped talking to each other. And their son was and still is my best friend. His mum died a year or two ago and that was the first time almost everyone on the block had been back together and talking in like 6 ish or 7 ish years. I miss knowing my neighbours. Oh and block parties were held a street over and everyone on the surrounding streets were invited.Dags90 said:And I was wondering, how well does the Escapist tend to know their neighbors?
I've lived in two rather different neighborhoods (in the same town). In my old neighborhood, pretty much everyone knew who everyone was, how many kids they had, etc. Neighborhood kids would play together, and the parents felt comfortable enough with each other to let us all be supervised by one person's parents at a time (this was also when I was younger). One of my friend's from high school actually used to have regular block parties in their neighborhood.
