Cyndaquil... Because you cannot deny that an adorable flaming hedgehog that evolves into an adorable, badass badger that can turn itself into a rolling fireball is completely epic. Also, because Gen 2 is completely better than Gen 1 in almost every aspect.

I pick bulbasaur, because it's cute. And there's something so poetic about something that cute that can take out a giant firebird in one hit. Though it isn't very useful for actually catching said firebird.

as for the argument people are having about the different gens, gen 1 was awesome, gen 2 was a decent follow up. Everything after that needs to die.

Charmander all the way. Fire is awesome. When I played Pokemon Blue, I had a level 100 Charizard and not even the Legendary Birds could beat him...And I could take out a Blastoise in one hit...Hell, even Mewtwo had a hard time against him.
