What is this "KAHNSOUL" of which you speak? Everyone knows the only way real to play Elder Scrolls games is with the PC. Consoles suck, long live the PC master race! Muahahaha.

Who would play a game with such glorious modding potential, with several games before it run on a similar engine which has provided modders with extensive experience and know-how, and play it on a console?
If you don't have a PC you can play it on, sure, but I'd advice buying a new PC rather than play it on a console.
Seriously, do it.

PC, mainly for mods. I also like having console command access (color me cheater if you want, but I like to be in control of more than just the big things option settings allow) "Get stuck in a hole? Don't reload a save, noclip!" and the like.

I'm putting my faith in Bethesda that PC Skyrim won't have the stutter problems Oblivion / F3 / F:NV were prone to.

If I end up getting my new laptop, ideally on the PC. However, if not, 360 for me.

360, unfortunately. I'd prefer PC, but my rig can barely run Oblivion.

PC is winning with 60pct of the vote but they're making the game for consoles and giving it a "PC port"
This is the ONE thing that Bethesda has done to piss me off, ever.

For starters, it sounds real pretentious when people go "PC, why would I get it on anything else?" Not everybody cares about mods nor using the mouse and keyboard for controls.

I'm not getting it right away because when you've played one Bethesda game you've played them all, also it will last me for quite a while so I'll pick up games like Arkham City, Ultimate MvC 3, Modern Warfare 3, Gears of War 3, and Mass Effect 3 first and THEN Skyrim. And it will be probably on the PS3 since I dont like depending on my PC for games.

PC because of mods. Like everyone with a half-decent computer should.
it's sad that good computers aren't cheap...
yeah, this is the only reason we still have consoles at all.

If good gaming comps were more easily affordable, there'd be little other reason for gaming consoles.
actually consoles are the only way of obligating us to use their DRM into the games...

Ha ha... consoles....
This type of game should really only be played on a PC, mainly due to how much better suited they are to customization.

Not knocking on consoles, but they are one of the reasons for the downfall of mechanically complex rpgs.

I dunno, you're probably going to have to need a nicer-end computer to play this game on good graphics at a decent fps.

I'll be playing it on the PC, but because I can run it on my laptop on higher graphics than the XBOX. I don't care much for elderscrolls mods. I've always liked the vanilla versions better.
It doesn't take much to run a game at 720p at 30 frames per second at medium settings (360/PS3 levels). I dropped a 25 dollar video card into a crappy single core sytem and was pulling that off on newer (2010/2011) games.

For 415 dollars, I got a system that runs Crysis and the Witcher 2 at almost full settings at 1080p. Guess what else is around that price?
You got a system that runs Crysis at 1080p at full fps for $415?

What did you buy?

Edit: I don't really like playing any modern games at anything less than 1080p
I mean it will dip down into the 30s when the action is really heavy, but it hangs around 45-60 pretty much everywhere else. Including the snow levels. Except for the final fight, which is one of the most unoptimized messes I have ever encountered.

Athlon II X4 3.00 ghz $100
5770 $100
Case $30
4 gigs 1333mhz DDr3 $30
Asus Mobo $70
1 TB HDD $50
PSU $30

$410

Plus I ripped the old HDD out of my computer and used it to install XP (recovered it and it recovered onto my new drive as it was first in BIOS); and I ripped the old DVD drive out.

Though eventually I put $30 into a wireless mouse and keyboard and $100 into 64 bit Windows 7, but that was optional.
Those specs sound familiar... OH WAIT THERE MINE :D
