I legitimately hadn't considered that as an option, though I think I'm running out of slots...

Are you asking what I think of the Wii U as a console or what I think of its game library because those are different questions entirely.

All these new announcements certainly make the console look more enticing, definitely more interesting than the Xbone/ps4 lineups currently are. That said I still think the console as a whole is an underpowered gimmick rather than a relevant gaming platform and no amount of new games could change that for me.

If I ever buy one it'll be because the value the games it has are of high enough interest/ value to me to offset buying and using the actual console.

the new Star Fox, from what I've read, sounds horrible. What I've read sounds like Kid Icarus for 3DS is being made into Star Fox for the WiiU. I hope this isn't the case but not really feeling it

Devil's 3rd... let's be honest the only reason this is coming to WiiU is because Valhalla Studios developed this game for last gen systems and there's only one system that still uses last gen technology, meaning they won't have to invest too much in converting everything over

is there a sequel to Wonderful 101? Why does everybody keep mentioning this game like if something new about it was coming out?

the Xenoblade X game looks really good but it seems it won't be out for a couple more years, same for Bayonetta, I highly doubt the new Zelda starts Zelda, I think it would make more sense if it was Aryll. Also Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem? What happened? No new Fire Emblem, Metroid, or Pikmin?

Now I'm not saying I'm not happy about all the announcements but I just don't see what the big deal was about them. They were indeed better than Microsoft and Sony but I just can't be all excited for the poop that floats the most :/

good for Wii U owners, and Nintendo in general. I am not getting a Wii U though, I prefer the PS4 right now, it has more games I find interesting, though I agree that the new Zelda is tempting.

But the most important game is Devil's Third, i love Ninja Gaiden and i really need to get my hands on this one, same goes for Bayonetta 2. Probably not going to buy one anytime soon (I'm not rich), but it's the only next-gen console i consider owning, if it wasn't for WiiU i would go handheld only.

Though i will say that i wished that the From Software game and the Suda51 game were for WiiU, as they are some of the few games that got me excited on the ps4 (so far). I wish they would reach out to From Software to get an exclusive Armored Core game, or something and maybe a replacement for the Wii's No More Heroes?
This is sort of what I've been thinking myself, I've been waiting for another decent AC game from FROM, 5 and it;s spinoff weren't all that great and left a bad taste in my mouth along with them not scoring and selling as well as 4 and 4 answer.

I have doubts though I mean it's been since 2012 now and they've so far focused only on the Souls series, the latest game BloodBourne is going to be PS4 exclusive and looks to be exactly like a Souls game minus a few tiny elements, it's main selling point being dark and super gritty (a little gothic in there) along with again difficulty being a selling point and the story will no doubt be super mysterious that we need to constantly play the game multiple times to be able to understand it all because everyone on this planet objectively loves to do that in gaming (just in case since I know the answer is that already).

Really their latest game just doesn't sell me at all, the Souls series isn't at all a franchise I'm remotely interested in and it doesn't drag me in, nor do I want to play it but the AC series has done so in the past, I only wish they'd just come out with a new AC game for the Wii U or something multiplat, normally I can be patient but I'm not willing to sit around for another 5 years for them to come up with another AC game that could turn up mediocre while they ride the niche Souls gravy train.

I dunno I feel left out from them and I loved them in the past, I want to again but only if they're willing in return.

OT: I think the Wii U has more than sold itself for me, last year it was already decent for me with some games, now this year and for the next it's practically sold itself and validated the purchase, same with Microsoft's XB1 with what they've offered.

Sony on the other hand, not really much if anything, maybe R&C but I guess if I grab a Wii U and XB1 along with some PC gaming I might end up picking up a PS4 at the end of the generation when everything is an absolute steal and play all their single player stuff.

It's nice that they keep trying, but unless The Witcher 3 is Nintendo exclusive, I will not buy a WiiU.

Their games just don't do it for me, and I have acclimatised way too much to PC to even want to go back to consoles.

Maybe once another generation rolls out and they become cheap; for the exclusives, but until that day, sorry, I just have no interest in it.

Considering the strong offering of first party titles they showed it's forgivable not to consider that option. But it made me think, "Well, if it's still not enough then I guess 3rd party really is that important to me".

I did go back and add that, in an interest of fairness. I just don't think I could make too much more broad a spectrum of options, especially since now I am completely out of slots.

As for 3rd Party, it's funny. Some companies don't want to make games for Nintendo until they get more customers. Some customers don't want to buy the WiiU until they get more 3rd party games. It's and endless cycle that hopefully this e3 will break. I'm certain that they'll push out more units once Smash comes out, and that should hopefully be enough to get more people to ride the Hype Train.

There is no options for people who want one but can't afford it because that would mean they wont eat this month.

First of all i don't really want a console and Wii U would be the last one on my list if i ever considered investing in one. The main issue i had with it still remains, it's useless if you arent interested in Nintendos exclusives, plus the fact that it's hardware is considered weak after the xbone and PS4 launched so it's even less likely that it will get many AAA titles from the third party after they completely abandon the previous generation. Not even one title from OP's list seems even remotely interesting to me, but thats my fault and not the consoles.

Food counts as something they would have to buy before they could consider a WiiU. I'd file that under option 6.

Almost none of the new announcements matter to me. I think I can say my opinion is relatively unchanged.

My opinion didn't change. Only the most cynical of people assumed that nintendo wouldn't beef up the library of the Wii U with first party titles eventually, so it should come as no surprise to anyone that suddenly a ton of nintendo games are finally coming.

Problem is, at least as far as me being interested is concerned, I couldn't care less about first party nintendo games. Not enough story, and I generally don't like the art design. Of all the games nintendo announced at E3, literally the only one that interested me in the slightest was Xenoblade. Maybe when more information about SMT x Fire Emblem comes out I'll be more interested, but for now, a resounding meh.

This is pretty much why I buy Nintendo systems; regardless of support from fickle 3rd parties, you're guaranteed a quality lineup overall no matter the circumstances.

Still would be happy with mine even if I hadn't been following E3.

I have very little interest in the AAA games that the WiiU will be missing out on, and I'm excited for the titles that are coming.

I think between this, last gen and PC, I'm not going to be missing out on any gaming any time soon.

None of that seems very interesting to me.
I love Nintendo as a company. My lack of caring about the WiiU speaks volumes of it.

Currently, there are 2.5 titles I am interested in (Bayonetta, Xenoblade, and MAYBE Zelda...never been a big fan). The Wii-U seems like it's becoming imminently playable for me. I never really got into their party games, or anything Mario related (including Smash and Kart), as I OD'ed on that stuff my first few years as a gamer.

If a few more compelling titles come out, I will have officially become a convert. Hell, all they need to do is announce two things to make me a die-hard...

1) Make a deal with RPG companies who fear "HD budgets." However fallacious, people don't expect bleeding edge graphics from Nintendo's system. This will assuage the corporate idiots who feel that RPG's are too expensive to develop for other consoles.

Hell, 3DS already seems to be the last bastion of JRPG's, so...

2) Allow crossplay with 3DS. I swear, if I can use the Wii-U to feed my 3DS video onto a TV, that will be worth it right there!

I've made these points before, but they are worth repeating.

The point where you can tell this poll isn't representative is the point where over 1/3rd of respondents have a Wii U =D

Anyway Nintendo make good games. Of those admittedly, there's only one or two I actually want to play in the sea of other good games in the world, but still they're really solid. Even more than that Nintendo surprised me and announced a lot more good games than I thought they would.

...and it's never going to be worth getting a Wii U. I am not and never will be rich enough to justify buying two consoles. It doesn't matter if Nintendo manufacture pure pixie dust because you can't live off the output of one publisher alone and it's absolutely crippling to do so. Could I spend the next couple of years missing out on the equivalents of Mass Effect, Fallout: New Vegas, Tomb Raider, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Arkham Asylum, The Witcher, The Walking Dead, Alpha Protocol, Mirrors Edge, Bastion, Saints Row 4, Portal 2...

...and just play friggin' Zelda?

No way. I need to believe that the console I'm going to buy will give me access to as wide a range of potential games as possible and Nintendo could explode hugs all day and it wouldn't be good enough to ensure that. Maybe this fantastic selection of first-party games will bring in the gamers who will then attract the third-parties? Because that sure worked with the Wii...and the Gamecube... and the N64... Nintendo have been failing to guarantee access to a wide range of games for literally longer than I could read. I'm serious, Nintendo were failing to do this when I was five.
