Guild Wars 2.

My enthusiasm for TOR waned rapidly. They started the marketing too soon and they're revealing content in an infuriating little trickle. GW2's motto seems to be 'treat em mean, keep em keen' and its working, goddammit.

Guild Wars 2 will be subscription-free as well, so there's that, and it'll follow on more cohesively from the godlike original.

I <3 Kotor though, so this could change....but GW2 is a serious contender; don't forget about it.

Honestly?

Lego Universe. I'm in the closed beta right now and am actually thoroughly enjoying myself.

I don't get excited about MMOs anymore. The big ones will be the same crap as every other MMO out there and the smaller ones who can be innovative always fuck up in one way or another. I won't get excited until one of the larger developers grows some balls.

The two I am most excited about are World of Warcraft: Cataclysm and Star Wars: The Old Republic. I have been playing WoW for almost a year now but I have been a fan of Star Wars for almost 22 years.

I will still play WoW when Star Wars: The Old Republic comes out though.

Definately The old Republic. I haven't done much with MMO's in the past but that game has got to be worth a play.

APB looks amazing, and the lack of a monthly subscription pretty much sealed the deal for me.
Pretty much this. I've never really been big on MMOs, with exception to Earth and Beyond "back in the day", but APB looks like pure, Cathartic fun. (and free to play) Plus, being developed by some of the same people that brought us GTA and Crackdown....

consider me sold.

I'm most excited for the Warhammer 40k MMO.
I forgot, which one is Warhammer 40K? The One with advanced techno-mystical forces duking it out in generic powered armor in a sort of sci-fi/fantasy way, or the pure fantasy about alot of Dungeon's and Dragon's?
The sci-fi/fantasy way. Except its so much more awesome than that. And generic? That sounds like heresy to me...
Whats that I smell? I believe 'tis the smell of your BULLSHIT! Hehehehehehehe!

In all seriousness though, I'd think the powered armor in 40K would be alot better if it actually did it's job and protected the user. Or if they had Jet-Packs. And were made from the same alloy a Iron Mans. Now that would be Kick-Ass!
Well they do have jet packs. And can teleport and lots of snazzy things. Also protects the user, depending on what other race you're fighting off. And Iron Man? He is no Space Marine.

Hate to say it, but I may actually end up playing TOR one day... I expect they will have RP servers, and RPing as a Star Wars character would be so cool. I would just have a hard time switching to this game from LOTRO, which I haven't played for a few months anyways, but still.

I wish all MMORPGs shared the same currency with each other... Then I wouldn't think twice about trying other ones. Apart from my character's developed backstory, his accumulated wealth is most important to me. But losing all the time invested in one to start another... eh.

I've heard there may be a Warhammer 40K MMO, or was it a Dawn Of War MMO?

I dunno but it's sparked up my interest because i've been getting into the Dawn Of War games lately, especially Chaos Rising

Three MMOs have my eyes...

Star Wars: The Old Republic: It's Knights of the Old Republic and I get to play a freaking Bounty Hunter. I want my flamethrower damn it!

All Points Bulletin: The customizability is freaking perfect. I'll pay fifty dollars for that and that alone.

Guild Wars 2: Everything I wanted in the first Guild Wars and more.

I'll probably pick up All Points Bulletin and Guild Wars 2 for the fact they both don't have monthly payments which makes them greatly affordable. They've sold me on that.

Star Wars: The Old Republic however has definitely earned my love with Lance Henriksen reading the history of what's led up to this game's point and time. Anything Lance Henriksen earns my love.

No, but Iron Man's armor is alot more freakin powerful. So much so, that if he got into a fight with a 40K Space Marine the fight would be over in less than a minute because Iron Man ripped out the said Space Marines power armor power supply with his bare armored hands. :D
