Poll: Would you eat someone?

It'd have to pretty a pretty specific situation, but I would if it worked out that way. I mean, I'd have to be starving to death, I'd have to have little or no hope of rescue soon, and the other person would have to die about that time so they don't rot.

I don't think I would kill someone for food though, they'd have to die naturally.

I would eat someone just out of curiosity and out of survival. My only problem is human meat is usually stringy and bitter. I would need salt.

It would be a complete waste if you just disposed the meat, if there was a shortage of eatable food.

Of course, if the person died of any kind of illness or any other death that wasnt caused by some kind of trauma, i wouldn't eat it. The meat might be infected, and only make you (and potentially other people) sick, which is not something you want if you're fighting for survival.

Not only because I'm not the biggest pork fan, but because morally I couldn't do it. If I saw someone trying to eat another human, no matter the situation, I'd probably kill them, because I will never approve of canibalism.

I would think a women would be better since they have more tender meat typically. There really is nothing sexist about that.

Nope. Reasons!

1) You NEVER eat something that dies naturally, ever. Seriously, this will fuck you up so much it's not even funny.

Can you explain that one to me. I am not sure how it would mess you up.

2) I'd also never kill someone with the intention of eating them, which is just beyond wrong.

Well, then you would be the one killed to be eaten

3)...I just wouldn't. Seriously, how would you be able to go on living knowing that you had to eat another human being, someone who once had thoughts, dreams, hopes, a family, etc? I know I just wouldn't be able to do it, and I'd rather die with my humanity intact.

You would be very surprised what you can do during extreme circumstances.

Ok so this topic gets thrown around in alot of horror/survival films but would you be able to eat another person if that was your only option of survival or would you starve? Yes or no on the poll, and please give your reasoning

The question is HOW would I eat and whether I like sausages!

Yes, but only if I could cook the meat properly.
It might be easier to get the protein and such from it but it?s also easier to contract any of the diseases or illnesses the person had. You can go for quite a while without food but your doomed if you get sick and end up dehydrating.

would I eat a dead person for survival? yes, if I could stomach it.

would I kill a living person, no matter how near death, then eat them? if and only if they seriously asked me to, and even then I would be hesitant.

certain people (mostly hardcore vegan activists) have asked me before if I would eat human flesh in a non-survival situation, and I have usually (jokingly) replied with "sure, if it wasn't illegal." to those activists who have really pushed my buttons, I said "maybe I'll start with you. I certainly do love eating (insert synonym for cat here)"
