Family member. I had to earn my friends whereas I just sort of received my family. I'm not saying it would be easy though.

Who is that family member? Because, you see, i love my mom, and i love my grandparents (whom i'll have to lose in the near future, i'm afraid), but i absolutely hate my brother.
On the other hand, the only person in this world i could describe as a "close friend" is of extreme importance to me. So losing him in any way, shape or form is not an option.
So all things considered, i'd say that above all else i value... oh look, cake!

Incredibly hard question. I think the friend gets to live, but just barely wins over some family members
Wow this was a really anvil-on-the-head type of question. I honestly have no idea. I make friends pretty easily but closeness takes a while and I love my close friends as if they were family. On the other hand I love my family and I don't think I could bear to lose any of them. So I'm going to have to go with the cake option
a close friend. I've already lost 3 family members within the last 4 years and I don't think I could handle losing another.
Immediate family would be my choice. I don't really have any emotional attachment to them and to top it off my one friend means the world to me.

Family, since my family is barely able to be called one. They try to be close to me, but I have kept my distance...this is kinda depressing
