I really don't give a rat's ass, but I do feel scorn at middle-class girls who date guys engrossed in urban/gangsta culture, which incidentally happens to be 'black'.

But this has more to do with cultural elitism than racial prejudice.

Thank you. I've felt that it's more of a cultural/class issue more than an actual racial issue for a long time, but I don't think that's as widely accepted (if it's true, which it could be or not, I haven't done the research) as I'd like it to be.

My friend Jacklyn is fully Vietnamese (came here when she was about 3). Her parents will not let ANY guy, unless he is also asian, and was NOT born in America. She doesn't listen obviously, as she's dated two black guys, an Arabian, a Russian, a white-black guy and three white guys. But the bullshit rules parents come up with to "preserve their culture" are ridiculous.

Honestly, until people start wondering about it, only then it becomes something I notice. There is literally nothing to care about. It is one of those things where shedding light on it is already taking it to far.
