Yeah, I tend to become obsessed with a hobby or site for about a month or two, then let that fall into the peripheral while focusing on something else before eventually moving back to the original thing after some time has passed. I expect the Escapist will be back in the vogue soon

You're on my revenge list You seem like a decent person though I don't remember anything particularly splendid or horrible about you. You pop up in enough of the same threads that you have name and avatar recognition, though.

Though you used to have a different avatar, I'm pretty sure. If I'm wrong, maybe I'm off on the avatar recognition.

I was the clown head for awhile, then the Majora's Mask with the fire around it for awhile... Actually I'm surprised you recognized the name over the avatar.

I expect no one to recognize me due to the very, very selective manner in which I lend my opinions or voice to a thread (50~ posts in 5 years and 1 week), usually only posting if I feel my opinion brings up a new point of view or discussion point, otherwise I just read threads that interest me/ take part in polls without always posting.

But hey, I could be surprised though and someone might recognize my avatar or something.

I'd say approximately no one knows who I am. I mean I barely post so it's to be expected.

I think one guy complimented my avatar once. Which was nice.

I doubt many people recognize me because I lurk more than I post but i've been here a while and like to think someone might occasionally recognize my avatar.

Nope, doubt I exist. Not really a problem though, decently sized forum, and I tend not to frequent the one hyper-active part of it. Forum Games or whatever? Either way, eh. I just like reading the things and reading other people's the things. All the things.

I doubt I'm known. I don't have a particularly high post count, and I don't really post regularly. I'll typically go through occasional bursts of avid posting, but then just return to mainly lurking.

As far as I know, I'm pretty much a nobody. I don't get very much attention, and I don't really get involved with user groups, although I am a member of a couple. I generally post in gaming and off-topic threads. I don't post that often, either; I've been here for a few years, and even then I only have around 1300 posts.

I'm fairly sure no one notices me here. If they do, it's probably because I've said something they see as stupid and or controversial, and then they'll forget about me again.

Sometimes it feels like I can kill a thread simply by posting in it.

I'm certainly not a regular as far as posting goes. I find it easier just to lurk in the darkness. Watching. Ever watching.

Well, I usually stick around a bit, I mean I'm still here posting this right? The times where I disappeared completely I was working abroad in places with limited Internet and not enough time to converse on here.

I am starting to notice you because I keep wondering where that avatar is from. I do have some suspicions but I don't know for sure.

No-one's life is so basic that it can be summed up in a motto, I say. But one that would fit part of me rather well is "Always have his suitcase packed". I don't have much presence here. I recognise most of the posters, particularly the dear old bigshots, but I don't involve myself very much. I imagine that it'd feel like taking something out of the suitcase, with the understanding that it'll have to be found and stuffed back in the suitcase when I'm off.

But until whatever relocation I'm always for some reason prepared for occurs, I'll be happy to stick my oar into other people's business every now and then.

That is until I have a disagreement with a fellow poster. At that point they remember me long enough to yell at me.

I know a handful of generally cool and friendly people recognise me.

I suppose a few people probably recognise me in the "Ugh, there's that mouthy prick again" kind of way.

And here's me....debating which of those two I'd fit into...

I'm the amazing invisible J-pop artist, the only things people remember about me are my avatar and the fact that they don't like my posts.

And even then they don't actually remember until they see me post again.

It's the numbers, man. They throw people off.

Perhaps 5 or 6 people recognize me but thats it. I don't do user groups and and I have 20 years on the average user so my views are not the liberal consensus, so most that recognize me don't do so in a positive way.

Would you accept a neutral perception?

I have had disagreements with you here and there but I've never viewed you in a negative way.
