im so gunna get flamed for this but, dosent the 360 seem like the better choice for porn distribution...i meen (and i may be misinformed here) isnt the ps3 the "family console" whereas the 360 seems to corner the frat boy market if yahtzee is to be believed so surely it would be better, and most people with ps3`s have computors lol whereas there maybe some 360 owners who cant work out that you have to click the mouse twice (sits back and waits for flames)

Is it morally right? I've no qualms about the adult industry, but I'd say it would need a 100% accurate age check, otherwise it could be really morally dubious and could kick up a right shit-storm.

Of course it's not morally right, even offering porn to a 18+ year old is odd enough just because it's an easiert way for perverts to get a stiffy simply by paying a few bucks. Seriously, work on yourself to get a woman.

this is gonna be like the psp playstaion pornable media frenzy except now it would be endorsed by sony! I dont think sony are going to want to piss off the people who hold their main audiences purse strings aka parents and their offspring.

Some parents actually buy PSPs and Nintendo DSs for themselves as well (probably due to the "casual" marketing around these devices), so if it's done properly, I'm not sure that would affect their image much (except in countries where governements are chosen over religious bias, and still, not all of them imho, but that's another thing anyway).

Anyhoo, I can't imagine such a thing as a kid using a computer or indeed the PS3's web browser to find porn. No, that's simply not possible, kids are not tech-savvy enough to do that without a controller in their hands and a pretty interface to help them through it.

Uh.. why would anyone PAY for porn anymore in the first place?
Second, why do us PS3 owners need this? We have a lovely browser (that I am using right now. No, not for THAT!) that can play movies in flash, view and save several movie formats (no quicktime or WMV sadly).
So I think it is unnecessary myself. But still, it might be the death bell to the console war, who knows?
