I misinterpreted the title and thought the topic was about how there are no people who were still virgins by the end of a porno video.
Me too. Except I was thinking more along the lines that they are lying when the say it's their first time.

This isn't surprising to me. Even before the internet you would have been hard pressed to find a male in his twenties who hasn't watched porn. Most boys seek out and have watched some sort of pornographic material in their teens.

I would bet money that there is braille or pop out porn.
While I am not going to try and find the article because I am afraid of finding things I would rather not unintentionally: yes, there was an article in Time(?) about a man who invented popout porn for blind people. Rule 34!!

OT: They should have called me up. The only porn I have seen is on accident or those rotten commercials for Hardees (hence why I dont go to thier resturants).

I think I may have an inkling of the problem. Where do you advertise for subjects for a porn study to find people who have never looked at, and therefore presumably have no interest in, porn? If they've never looked at it and aren't interested, you probably won't find them frequenting places where it's openly discussed.

I hadn't watched porn until I was like 22. While not a "porn virgin" per se, I don't really count as a "regular viewer" either, so I don't know if I could even fit into the study. Porn just doesn't "do it" for me, ironic as that sounds. :D

I'm only 17, so I don't count. But I never watch porn - the videos, that is.

The occasional softcore google image search is enough for me, because my imagination is easily kicked into overdrive. This is both a blessing and a curse.

The only people that jump to mind are Amish people. Maybe Budists. You know. Places without internet.
I think the Amish might be a good guess, but even they might have at least stumbled across it at some point since they have to go out into the real world at some point and experience the modern world before deciding to remain an Amish or not.

However you're right, people without internet are the ones who are the most likely never to have watched it.
Keep in mind, before the internet there was Playboy...

Asexuals? Maybe? Hell, I dunno...
I'm certainly not a porn virgin >.>
Even some of the self styled "Asexuals" on here admit to watching porn (making them...y'know not Asexual, but hey, they won't be tied down by their own self labelling damn it! )

Yeah not much of a surprise here, I'm sure there's a few, but very unlikely, even if you don't watch it, you must've checked it out just out of curiosity.

I'm asexual and even I've seen some porn. Lol.
Okay I keep seeing this term misused. Unless you have no sexual organs, you are not asexual. I am sorry, I just keep seeing this and you happened to be the one I popped on.
Well it's certainly possible, it's a massive anomaly, I mean there are about...1% of the population who ACTUALLY qualify to be Asexual, but you're right it does get misused a lot. Going by this forum however, you'd think it would be somewhere in the region of about 10%, someone obviously borked that decimal place!

Yes, but places without internet are also places without that many stores that sell magazines. However magazines is the reason I think it's almost impossible to meet a person who hasn't stumbled over pornographic content.

I have no doubt.

Me and my friends all had seen porn by the age of 8-12 and that was before the internet became widespread.

Don't see the big deal though.

You could probably lower the age ceiling to about 12 years old (or even 10 at a stretch) and still get no porn virgins.

All that means is that Amish folk and luddites still rely on magazines and VHS.

Yes... a group of people living under strict religious rules where they don't have electricity spend their time watching porn on VHS.

Please, try reading my entire post rather than just the end.

Wait... Wait... Wait...

You can use the internet for things that aren't porn?

Edit - slightly more relevant and on topic:

Regarding the Amish thing, I can tell you from personal experience of going to a Muslim nation with strict conservative ideals (specifically, Helmand province, Afghanistan, where their levels of conservative-ism makes Saudi Arabia look like a country full of Hippies), that pornography still exists.

Everywhere.

Search the average backwater and conservative village in the most backwater and conservative province in the world, and you're still going to find a dirty magazine tucked away next to the family AK47.

Now, I'm not saying they ALL do it, or even a majority. Simply that it still happens... That, and Anal sex with young boys.

I know which one I consider more immoral, but only one will get you ostracised by the village elder (it's not the young boys one).

Now, I've no reason to believe that the same doesn't therfore apply to the Amish - considering (and I may be wrong here), that they actually get a point in their lives where they go out and live in the normal world for a period of time to decide if they want to remain Amish? Is that a thing or did my imagination make that up?

I know a guy who has never seen porn, and he is perfectly capable of going and doing so. Yes, seriously, I know he's not lying.

Were they asking if people had ever seen porn or actively looked for it? I mean, I don?t look up porn but I?ve of course run across it accidently or been watching a program that has had a sex scene (which I usually find boring or funny).
But then I?m female and that in general woman are less inclined to watch porn seems to be stereotype that is actually true.

I remember when we first got the internet as kids. The second our parents closed the door, my brother used the search bar to look for "play boy" and we looked at naked women.

I'm one! What do I win? :D

I've honestly never watched porn in my life, and I'm a 20-year-old strait male with internet access.
