Porn Virgins Do Not Exist

Well, not males ones apparently.

University of Montreal researchers wanted to compare the attitudes of non-porn watchers to regular viewers.

But researcher Professor Simon Louis Lajeunesse told the Daily Telegraph they simply couldn't find any.

"We started our research seeking men in their twenties who had never consumed pornography. We couldn't find any," he said.

After reading that I got a bit curious. Did they just not look hard enough, or does access to the internet guarantee porn usage? At least for men. So, query: Are there any men on the Escapist in their twenties or older who've never watched porn?

I'm 22 and I've caught glimpses of it but I always scroll quickly away. I guess I might qualify for that study. My knowledge of female anatomy was so limited I didn't know women have 2 holes down there, I thought they had one like men.

This isn't at all surprising though, men's sex drives are simply way.... way.... way higher. For men, they're basically on their period 24/7 every day every week every month every year for several decades, minus the moment of bleeding. Of course they're gonna look at SOMETHING to wack off too at some point.

And I say you have no idea. Granted I cannot tell if you are male or female since you don't have it listed, doesn't really matter, since exceptions prove nothing anyways.

It is scientifically proven that women's sex drives heighten right before ovulation (their period, menstrual cycle, whatever you wanna call it).

So nothing I said about women and the effect of their periods is incorrect, so my odd idea, actually more or less being fact, only shows you are the ignorant one here.

When most people refer to a girl being "on her period" they are referring to the part of the menstrual cycle when a girl is bleeding. I know my experience is not necessarily everyone else (I am female btw) but the idea that anyone would have a higher sex drive during this time just genuinely perplexes me. Bleeding and cramps are the last thing that going to make you want to have sex and I would not have sex at all while on my period, that?s just ick...hence the comment. It was meant to joking and confused, not a personal attack. Text is bad for translating tone. Perhaps I should start using more emotes.

Now that I know you are referring to right before ovulation (which is about 14 or so days after your period, I think) yes that a women?s sex drive increases is probably true. I don't really notice but I don't really have much of sex drive to begin with and I don?t analyse these things but I trust the studies on this are correct and its makes sense that it would be the case. Of course I don?t know how this compares to a mans obviously, no one really does.

I figure that most people will of seen porn at least once to see what it consists off, among other reasons, it's just one of those things everyone does at least once like playing games or going on a roller-coaster or *insert thing some people might do once to try and keep doing it or stop completely*.

Well this is awkward, seeing as how I pretty much can't stand porn. I've seen bits and pieces of it before like in adverts and sidebars and stuff, it's almost impossible to avoid entirely on the internet. But I've never sought out or voluntarily watched actual porn before. All the creepy weird fetishes that seems to go along with it don't help either.

Now please don't take this the wrong way, but a lack of that knowledge at that age seems... dangerous to me. Sexual education is important. Even if you plan on being abstinent your entire life. It's pretty key if you ever decide to have sex.

The reason I compare it to a man's libido, is because, well, women don't seem to have sex on their mind nearly as much as men, and since when a woman is on her period, and this is the time her sex drive would be heightened... Whatever. -.-

Males think about fucking because it's enjoyable and hardwired into genetic code. Sex = reproduction = more chance of offspring = more potential sexual partners = more sex.
Females think about sexual intercourse because a maternal instinct is hardwired into their genetic code to reproduce, care for, and nurture more partners to reduce strain on her body.

It's a numbers game, really.

Also Mick, I agree with Sheep in that most women (amongst those I know) refer to their "period" as the period when they're bleeding and emotional and cramping.

Yeah, I thought I covered this in my first post which is why I replied with a sarcastic comment rather than a more thorough explanation. I didn't misinterpret, I was simply annoyed that only a small portion of my post was regarded in the reply while the majority of my post was saying that even the Amish probably would encounter it during their Rumspringa.

The reason I don't do the above is that the fucking comment rape-train is now like half-a-page long, and also, I usually edit out things I agree with. That way, people can see the point I'm bringing up to debate. Perhaps I'm still new here and that's not protocol. It just seemed ergonomic. Sorry for all the confusion.
