Portal Has a New Ending

It's not that, It's just that portal wasn't the brilliant treasure trove of awesomeness that some people made it out to be. It was different and that's why I enjoyed it. I can't complain on how it'd be very similar to the first since it's really a puzzle game with a great storyline and a robot with multiple personalities and dark humor.orangebandguy said:

Admittedly I never did finish the HL episodes, and I was working through Ep1 with my friend but then his computer crashed...sigh

Anyway here we go. Basically the borealis is made by apature science after their research facility was "destroyed". This is the research facility. Your character is the character in halflife 2 episode 3. Portal was background on this new character. The half life health shows a tie in. Your character may play a key part in the apeture science made borealis. Im almost 100% certain this is correct.

Also no I've never played DoD. But I have been told to play it before.
Although that would still give them a better precedent than anyone outside of the guys who made World of Goo or Blizzard.
As for where it will go from here, I honestly don't know and I do agree it seems like they are going to be trying to squeeze themselves through a pinhole. But I've seen other companies do more with less so I'm sure they'll do fine.
I got the new ending after playing from a save file just before the level with the turrets. It's not really a ret-con as it is just an addition to the end.
