The elder scrolls IV: Oblivion is a massive open-world singleplayer RPG with very ,very many quests, some better than the other. The ammount of types of items and the ammount of dungeons is amazing. The story seems pretty promising, esspecially the Lore and it can be very hilarious at times.

Trials Evolution has a robust level editor and is one of the few modern games that supports split-screen multiplayer that isn't an FPS.

Deus Ex; Human Revolution had incredible atmosphere. As much as I disliked the actual game, the atmosphere was on a level I rarely experience in games.

Dragon Age 2 still had a few very funny banters between party members
