The soul reaver easily. Sure, it...has a bad habit of making non-vampires go completely batshit bonkers eventually. But, it never rusts, it cannot be broken by anything except another soul reaver (Long story) and doesn't need sharpening. Plus! It devours the souls of any enemy it is used against.

A lead pipe, because if it's good enough for a silent hill protagonist it's good enough for me.

Tonfa, probably because they're used by Talim, my favorite fighting game character ever.

The Hammor of Thor. With a chainsaw attached to it. It also has a fold in/fold out minigun.

Shishkebab from Fallout. Why just slice a guy in half when you can slice him in half and light him on fire with your flaming sword of death?

A spear is incredibly unwieldy in close quarters and is pretty much useless for anything other than a forward piercing motion. If you were swarmed with combatants in close combat, or even just zombies, you wouldn't stand much of a chance. - Gralian

Not true if in the situation you segested you can use the spear if it is sturdy enough a staff. If used as a staff you would be able to get them away from you atleast enough to give some space.
