Quick question for everyone complaining - do you think we're not letting you enter out of spite, or something? Do you really think we're just so ignorant that we say to ourselves, hey, we could let half of our audience in on this really cool event, but let's just not? I certainly understand why you're frustrated, but the comments in this thread seem to indicate that you think we're doing this on purpose just to piss you off, or something.

WHY USA and CANADA!!! Yahtzee is British and lives in Australia!

Anyway although slightly miffed I'm still going to join the Facebook group as I love Zero punctuation and want to help the next 100000!

To all of the people complaining about the contest not be open to any but North America, pissoff. You guys live outside of North America, the places that many North Americans dream of going, all we get for living in these places is a few lousy t-shirts, and in my city specifically, high un-employment.

It's a shame I'm one of those European peasants who isn't allowed to enter your glorious North American-only giveaways.

The octopus in my head told me whining solves everything.

Also: 100 k is a lot of fans. Bloody hell.

Dammit. Where's the love for the UK? Why is it always US and Canada?!

Good luck to anyone else who enters, then. Congrats to ZP for so many fans, too.

Are you kidding me?! It's not exactly sunshine and rainbows over here. I can't even tell you how badly I want to live in NA, it burns me up every day that I'm not there. I've been there four times in my life so far, and it already feels more welcoming than where I live. At least you get the t-shirts, we get high unemployment here without the benefit of a new sodding shirt.

Submitted my message, only to then notice the US/Canada message. Come on Escapist, surely it is indeed time for some international recognition!?

Especially, given that this is a ZP competition, I think the land of Yahtzee's birth deserves a look in on this situation!

Looking at contest. Seems interesting. However, I've never seen a contest that gives prizes out of the states.

*After looking a little: BWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!? We, canadians, can finally get a prize!?!?!

Note* If I win, I want the "charismatic stallion" t-shirt.
2nd Note* Assuming that we can choose our t-shirts.

How incredibly vulgar of you. You think we are actually complaining that we don't live in North America? I think we are all quite happy where we are, thank you very much. We're just a tad disappointed we can't participate in this competition.

Secondly, high unemployment? Really? What a totally unique problem you have there in your home city.

To your first point, that's what I'm saying. You pay the price of living in a fantastic place, and the one of the things that sucks is you can't win a 20 dollar tshirt for free.

Second, I think at peak in 2005, unemployment was at 20%, hooray for the automotive industry.

EDIT: Also just realized why your first point said that. Faulty wording on my part.

Fair enough, I wasn't trying to belittle anyone, my point may have come as a bit misconstrued. But, simply enough put the grass is always greener, right? By the way, where I am, it's not too welcoming either far too much racism.

Fantastic? Actually, I live in "Great" Britain. :p You're probably fortunate enough not to be able to see it all from across the pond, but there's a lot not fantastic about it, really. Anyway, this really is beside the point and not really pertinent to the matter at hand.

Is one of the things not fantastic about it all the bad puns? (But seriously, nice pun) Yeah, I messed up with what was said, didn't think it all the way through.
