That's why I'm not buying the new one. I'm sticking with my good old white 360. I've had it for 6 years and have had no problems with the RRoD. I don't want to deal with the GRoD. (Also, please don't think I'm a racist because I preferate my 360 white instead of black. We've already got a great black console, I'd like some difference.)

To the paint store, followed by to the nearest console supplier! We will paint the streets white as we revert the consoles to their already established colors! As we are there, we should splash those black Wiis to...or maybe just paint the Xbox orange for a larger difference...
Maybe they are trying to channel the spirit of the PS3 which had a smaller amount of hardware failures, until the slim. Curse you YLOD!
Guess microsoft is going the reverse route with a failing normal console and then a great slim.
They should just be like the *shudder* Wii when it comes to software failures...

OT: The problem that caused the red lights was fixed apparently so it doesnt matter what colour they are.

Oh no that thing eats games even when it's standing still, I had to turn in my first 360 because of that.

The 360 slim already has redringed, just look at the bloody thing it's ugly and they did what PS3 fixed with their slim model now being textured. The stupid piano black that collects fingerprints faster than the NYPD not to mention dust.

I had my 360 for 5 years. It never scratched a disk. Yours probably had a fault as most people dont have the problem unless they move it.

Actually on WatchDog here in Britain, quite a while ago, they found that moving it even when not touching the actual console, can still cause the scratches. Stuff like jumping, or making heavy movements. Stuff that may well come when playing Kinect.
