I'll stick with my PC as my gaming rig, even though I own both an Xbox 360 and Wii, I've played my PC Most, with the Wii coming in second for game time, then the Xbox 360 (Why shell out for xbox live when I have my pc?)
True, and strangely ironic as it was Sony's superior marketing of the PS2 that helped sink the Dreamcast.arcus_angelus said:Does this remind anybody about Sega and it's Dreamcast? You know. . .the little differences? Both put out a solid system, both had really good games out for it, but really bad marketing is affecting the sales. I know there were other reasoning behind the Dreamcast's demise, but yeah. . .just made me think about it for a while there. *sigh* I liked my Dreamcast. ^.^
and its because of this Sony continues to tankJimmyjames said:Whatever. I bought the PS3 mainly for the bluray anyway. if it all goes bellyup, ill just buy a 360.
Um, I don't have any actual dates in there, just vague approximations of time, but that's neither here nor there. Sounds like it's gonna be a PS3 exclusive then, unless Microsoft or EA buy Guerilla from Sony.Indigo_Dingo said:You have your dates screwed up - the games were released on the PC after about a year, once they had them specced right.Sirisaxman said:If it's 1st party it'll definately be a PS3 exclusive. If, however, like Final Fantasy 13, it's 3rd party, it's always possible, even if it just comes out on other consoles at a later date. There are plenty of examples, Resident Evil 4 was originally a Gamecube exclusive, but it eventually got released on the PS2. Gears of War and Halo's 1 & 2 were originally Xbox exclusives, but a little while later, they were out on PC. Possibly most famously, GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas were all originally PS2 exclusives, but eventually got released on Xbox and later, PC.silentsentinel said:I'd bet it's a typo... or can someone prove me wrong?mydogisblue said:Since we're on the topic of PS3's, I was reading the newest issue of Game Informer when I saw Killzone 2 in the previews section. I looked at the consoles they were planning on releasing it for and it said: PS3, Xbox 360, PC.
Is Killzone 2 really coming out for the 360? I'm not upset about this or anything but I thought I would've heard about this sooner, seems like a big deal for some PS3 fans.
Or was it just some sort of typo?
Guerilla are currently a wholly Sony owned company, the game is actively using the Ps3's power (and using it to look as good as the 2005 E3), the game has a full Discs worth of content, its far too atmospheric to justify putting it on the 360.....yeah, pretty much everything about it says no to that. I'd advise checking the article again.
Seriously why would you post that. There are arguments both ways on it.Indigo_Dingo said:And even then, theres the whole problem of it not working because the 360 is inferior.
True, but what company would want to invest into only one system when it could also invest into the 360 which has double the systems on the market.DeusFps said:Well sony could spend money on getting better exclusives... Or they could spend all their money and time developing a pointless social network thing...

The PS3's GPU is pretty bad. :xIndigo_Dingo said:And even then, theres the whole problem of it not working because the 360 is inferior.
There are more then double the 360s then PS3s. They both have the same titles for the most part, besides a few here and there.Indigo_Dingo said:Exact same thing can be said about the 360.Hevoo said:Wait, Sony just found this out, and they had to pay someone to tell them this?
Looks like Microsoft won this war.(Wii blows it has only a few good games)
Isn't that why Folding@home does so well on the PS3?SuperFriendBFG said:Oddly enough, in a tech point of view, the PS3 is more suited for number crunching and simulations for research purposes then gaming.

You have a very weird understanding of maths.
Nope 360 games sellIndigo_Dingo said:You can also say that the 360 has no good exclusives, period.Hevoo said:There are more then double the 360s then PS3s. Personally, I have both systems, I don't play them to much because PC is better. But if I had to pick, 360 by far, just because of the titles the system has, and XBOX live.
The wii has almost no good titles, Zelda, Mario, No more heros.
