As much as I hate the Sim series... it would be a lot of fun to drive every Senator in Rome to kill Caesar, only to then clone him and send him off on his own killing spree.

Roman Empire. If I learned anything from watch 2 episodes of Spartacus it would just be one massive orgy, lol
If the new Sims game is anything like "The Guild" series, I will be very disappointed. That game was a buggy medieval micromanagement simulator that had the same feel of the Sims, but managed the whole concept very badly.
The Roman Empire of course! Including the gory violence, insane religious rituals and lots and lots of sex.

World War One. You'd have all the domestic issues of living in wartime to deal with - rationing, raising your own animals, sending your sons off to war, your women working with chemicals and working the land...
