Aside from the fact that it would be worth more than the total annual income of <subject's home town>, and would therefore be stolen very, very quickly, portal gun all the way! Until I get too fat to fit through the portals due to doing as little physical activity as is possible for life due to portalling everywhere...

gee a cloaking device and go into the local best buy , free video games , then the nearest 711 for gamer fuel (junk food) and later the nearest bank and ladies locker room ... and maybe go mess with peoples heads just for a chuckle

I see we both share the same twisted mind.
Did I just admit to wanting to use a cloaking device to be a peeping tom?

I'd take the portal gun, simply for the scientific capabilities. You know, instant star to star travel, infinite energy, good stuff like that. The only real problem would be the possibility of sucking all the air out of the atmosphere. After that, though, we should be good.

Actually, considering that, I'd take the cloaking device, if only because I don't think man is ready for the real dangers of the portal gun :( We would so kill ourselves.

I like how everyone is saying "cloaking device", when it is a "game technology" poll and pretty much every cloaking device in games only makes you invisible to the "untrained" eye. Gravity gun would be pretty fun and make it easier to move/lift stuff around when moving. Start a moving business and make a ton...

Only practical use I can think of for power armor is hunting down Al Gore and punching him in the face for being a moron. Global warming my ass. Ever since they start spreading around that bunch of lies it has gotten gradually colder every year. Not to mention the people that still go on about it being a problem make me laugh and lose any respect at all for them.
Thank you for having a lick of sense about global warming. Sometimes I think that I am the only one who doesn't believe in Al Gore on the Internet.

OT-I would probably get the power armor and pull an Iron Man on terrorists somewhere in the MidEast.

Portal Gun, hands down.

With it you wouldn't need a cloaking device, because you can just portal away.
You don't need a gravity gun, because you can just portal stuff around
And power armor you don't need, because you can just portal-slingshot your enemies away.
hello sir .. welcome to the 21st century ...

I'll portal their guns away!
take notice to the fact the portal gun needs two shots to actually make something disappear..
and in a sniper's range you wouldn't have time to pull the trigger a second time before you get shot . a sniper bullet travels very very very fast.

and for the lols.. there's a good amount of snipers in the military i want to see you hit every single one of em in time.. ... even 2 would be amazing...lol

Since the majority of the items on that list violate the laws of physics, which is a big fuck you to physicists, I'd just take the invisibility cloak.

However, assuming I can stay anonymous with the portal gun, I could use it to provide nearly infinite amounts of energy and sell it to the world, instantly becoming a world leader financially. Once I have my mega monopoly on energy, I'd start diversifying my portfolio and slowly take over the world.

Either power armor or the cloaking device. Probably more so the power armor, but I can see the cloaking being quite useful.

Power armour. Depending on type, it's the most versatile. Enhanced strength, stamina and speed all lovingly wrapped in wearably cool bit of Don't Mess With Me. I'll take that.

A portal gun is a lot of fun, but a gravity gun has a lot more practical uses. Get a hold of the zero-point energy manipulation tech and you're set for life. Goodbye, forklifts, cranes and other heavy-lifting equipment and hello, antigravity!

Portal Gun. Then find a way to increase the distance between the two ''doors''. Beats paying 250 euros for a plane ticket due to the taxes.

Its a tie between a cloaking device and power armour. Power armour would easily be my choice if I knew what kind it is, I'm assuming its Fallout 3 style power armour.
I was picturing a proper 40k armour. That would be so awesome, that i might actually die...From a stroke of awesome...ish

Cloaking Device. Invisibility is one of the most underrated powers ever. Why stop bullets when you can avoid them entirely? Can't shoot what you can't see.

The portal gun sounds awesome, and it would definitely be a close second for me, but it looses a lot of it's appeal once you realize you don't have biomechanical knees or spinal cord that can stand the kind of momentum shifts that would come natural to the device (i.e: you can't live through huge falls in real life).
