I have no doubts that COD is a really good FPS. Unfortunatly its not my type of thing and I still think that for what it is its way over rated. So yeah... I'll pass on this one.

Im still undecidied over buying it. If we get Fallout: New Vegas where I am I'll be getting the instead alongside AC2:B. But If it doesn't I'll get AC first and maybe Black ops after.

Firstly, Activision. Secondly, I'm not paying £35 for a non-collector's edition PC game. Thirdly, it's a military shooter with a heavy multiplayer emphasis. I have better things to spend my time on.

Nope, not getting it cause I don't like it. FPS games are ones that I like to play by myself and only if there are guns like BFG or guns that shoot shurikens and lightning. I don't want realism in my games.

I'm not really that interested in Call of Duty as a series, to be honest. Never really liked it. Hence, Black Ops shall not be traded for my money.

My brother pre-ordered it for Xbox so it will probably come either tomorrow or Wednesday. I would get it on PC, but due to bad connection at uni, playing online would be awful. I'll wait until I move into my own place in March or whatever and get it then. I'm really not that fussed...

idk if i will. I wasnt too thrilled with Modern Warfare 2 after a month or so, but Black Ops does look alright. Im busy with other games atm, so if i do get it, it wont be for a while.

Hold on there sport, don't start making assumptions about me just yet! Gamestop is having a midnight launch event with a tournament and it actually starts at 9. That's what me and my friends are going for. Free food, me and my friends playing Black Ops together, AND trying to beat a bunch of strangers? How could I miss it?

I think the call of duty series was fucked up from MW2 onwards.

I'll read some reviews, and if everything seems up to normal standard, I might pick it up when it goes back down to a normal price.

60 bucks is silly. Before a uninformed console player responds, all console games have to pay a 10 dollar royalty, you do not have that on PC. Raising the price to console levels is out of greed alone. It'd be the same as raising console game price to 70.
