Could we please boycott this game?.....please?
The last thing we need is more developers realizing how well generic FPS's sell and jumping on the bandwagon. That, or Infinity following through with their promise to deliver a steady stream of CoD's for the next 5 years. I thought we were better than this. I thought we all wanted intellectual and creative games?
If this were another Mario Galaxy, everybody would be like WTFOMFG NINTENDO THINKS THEY COULD GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!....Even though Galaxy is about 1,000x better than CoD.

To be honest I'll probably never play online. I want it for the splitscreen Co-op and multiplayer, as well as singleplayer.

Out of respect for the fans of this game series, I'm not going to launch into a "Why CoD sucks" speech (having suffered a few of those for being fans of less than popular games myself as well as a JRPG lover, I can emphasize here), but I'll just say that it isn't exactly going to appear anywhere on my list of upcoming games to purchase.

I have it preordered, and I'll go get it Wednesday or Thursday evening. I'd go sooner, but I've got plans called work and family stuff on Tuesday.

Yeah I'm getting it tomorrow after school. But chances are it won't be till the weekend till I'll brake it's seal and play the campaign for 6 hours straight. I'm also hearing a lot of kids at school saying they're taking the day off just to play it and that they are going to the midnight launch. If that is true for both parts or just for one, then I think it's safe to say "no-life!".

Nah, I don't care enough about FPS to get any more than I've already got. I have COD4 and Halo 3, neither of which I play, so any more would be a waste of money for me.

CoD4 was noted as having a decent singleplayer campaign so I thought the second one might be decent too. I was sorely disappointed and I will not be buying more Call of Duty games even if they do return to being good.

Because next year there shall be another, and until that point all that shall fill the news feeds is everything wrong with the multiplayer (whilst 100s of 1000s continue to play it) and how broken it is until the next one comes out and the cycle repeats and Kotick makes a cock of himself and people complain about it and then the same people buy the bloody thing.

After looking at the zombie gameplay footage AND the minigame easter egg, Activision did the impossible by actually convincing me to buy the game some time after its release.
