I'd rather not have a Live Action Death Note TV series. I enjoyed the first two live action films, greatly enjoyed the manga and anime TV series, even enjoyed the "gaiden" book, the Los Angeles B.B. Murder Cases, but enough is enough. I know the story of Light, Kira, L, the Death Note and everything to do with it! Can we let the series stand on its merits and not milk it dry until everyone's sick of it?

Now, the stories of Sandman would be VERY interesting to see. But what mortal dare enact the Endless...?

Looks-wise, yes. But I can't see him portraying him acting wise. I could be wrong and if anyone has a video clip to prove me wrong, go right ahead and send it me. But there are many people out there, and some my look like Light and be able to pull off the acting. Zac seems too comedic.

Calumon: Jack, is this about high school? I know you didn't like it but you're in... where do you go now?

Jack: Sixth Form. Just call it school Calumon. Make's it easier. I'm not being biased against Zac Effron. I'm sure he's good for his audience. It is true that I hated my high school and refuse to watch High School Musical out of determination it will be bad. Anyway, this was pointless conversation so I'll stop talking now.

Live action Death Note series. Well, that would be better than the film they might be making. Too much in it to cram into a few hours unless you would split it up. If that did happen then it could be the next Harry Potter, as long as you find good actors for it. Zac Effron could not do Light Yagami...

WE NEED KIRA!

Calumon: Dennis the Menace! :D
There are already 2 live action movies of Death Note. I watched them in Anime Club, they were pretty good. Though they changed a few things, which I was ok with. It kept it interesting and stayed true to the series.

Death Note is already a Television series, unless you are talking about a live action one. I'd still say yes to that, because Death Note is awesome.
Otherwise, Y: The Last Man.
Didn't DN alreayd had a live action movie?

OT: I vote for Berserk.

Death Note already was a TV series, and a damn good one. Why is it in this poll?

I voted Sandman, because it sounds pretty interesting.

Fables! There are loads of characters and back stories to show. It could kind of have the same narrative framework of something like Lost, with flashbacks etc.
I could see Y: The Last Man working as a mini-series. Death Note already had a series and I don't know how you would translate Sandman to TV.

Death Note was already a TV series, and two live action movies. Sandman... well, if they could do it without raping my memories of the comic and killing my (metaphorical) childhood, I'd be okay with that. I chose Fables, just because. But not "Jack of Fables", a series I completely lost interest in after the second story.

I'd want several of these comics to be made into a series, but the operative words here are "Made WELL" i.e. faithful to the source material and without "Americanizing" the story. i.e. no happy endings if the series had a sad or bittersweet ending.

Berserk!

They only made a season 1, they could make at least 3-4 more seasons of a show with all the mangas it has now. And seriously, the series only gets better from where they left off!

If we were to brave any kind of graphic novel to tv deal, I'd like to see Transmetropolitan get a shot. I just want to hear how Spider would sound...
