Death Note already was a TV series, and a damn good one. Why is it in this poll?

The poll question oughta be a bit more specific, because it seems to have confused mroe people than me.

Anyways, I voted for Runaways. How badass would it be to see Molly tear Cloak's cape in live-action?

Looking for Group!!!

It would be awesome to see them maime and kill every friday night or somthing :D
There apparently is a Least I Could Do (another webcomic by the same guys, if you didn't already know that) TV series. Either that or they're still trying to get one... If that can happen, Looking for Group is very possible.

Other: Transmetropolitan (imagining Patrick Stewart looking like a monkey-man gives me the giggles - from the beginning of the first book).
I definitely voted for Transmetropolitan as well! Spider Jerusalem is my skin on Minecraft :)

The Sandman would be a little odd when transformed into a TV series so I'd have to go with Y; The Last Man.

NOTE: For everyone voting for Death Note, it was already a TV series.

The only good comic book adaptation is one that doesn't dance up & down about how it is a comic book adaptation

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but 'DMZ' would be my personal preference. As long as the casting wasn't horrendous it'd be pretty hard to screw it up.

Transmetropolitan came into mind immediately.
But then I realised that there is simply no way to ever recreate the awesomeness in another form of media.
And Warren Ellis would cut their balls off if they tried.

I think Y: The last man would work well as a TV series because the comics always reference other adventures they had. It would give the shows creators the freedom to make smaller episodes with original plots without disrupting the overarching storyline.

Seconded, another vote for Transmet. Especially given that Patrick Stewart has said he wanted to play Spider.

None of the above. I want a Sin City TV show.
That is a terrific idea. Sin City would translate awesomely to a short film format. Make it a half hour blast every week.

My call? Transmetropolitan.

Warren Ellis does hate it when people try to film his graphic novels [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/escape-to-the-movies/2192-Red].

Well since Death Note already has a series even if it is an anime it still counts, I would love to see Transmetropolitan and Hellblazer, but they would have to be done on a channel like HBO or Showtime to allow for content.
I could also see Warren Ellis's Black Summer being made into a mini series

Also would love to see an animated Johnny the Homicidal Maniac continuation as well as a new animated Spawn

Sandman is still one of the best comic books ever. There's supposed to be a film on the way, but there's supposed to be a film on the way on everything.

Not Fables. I don't know what people see in Fables, it managed to take a good concept and execute it so clumsly it's run to the ground. I think any mainstream nonsuperhero comic is better than it.

But what I'd really like to see is Transmetropolitan. Yeah, right!
