If you post personal information on the internet, accept that it is out there forever.
If you post illicit personal information on the internet, accept that your bosses, friends, family, coworkers, boyfriends, girlfriends, and anyone else who could want to find it would be able to find it.
If you don't want prospective employers to find out about your habit of drinking copious amounts of alcohol and doing lines of cocaine off of the ass of a transsexual hooker, either don't do it, or don't let pictures be taken, or don't let them be put on the internet, or remove the tags from said photographs.
Otherwise, it's your own damned fault.
But, this whole "oh, noes, now everyone can see my information" is all based on the kind of self-important "the world revolves around me" asshattery of my generation. No one cares about reading whatever enlightened posts you put, no one cares about what movies or games you like (except, I guess, advertisers, but they can get that information from Google, too). Sure, some people do care about the illegal, illicit, or immature things you do, and that can adversely impact your life. But do you want to know a simple solution:
don't do things you wouldn't want your boss, friends, family, and children to see
