*cough*
I mean women didn't know what they were missing!
>.>
<.<
Yeah, that's it...
Lol that's what I used to tell myself :D

I was all like: 'Why don't they like me? I'd treat them sooo much better than that douchey jock they're crying over!'... sigh.
I'd think it'd be pretty hard to find any nerd who hasn't thought that! :D

Seems you bagged yourself one of them "smart women", as I like to call 'em.
A rare breed to be sure, make sure to be extra vigilant as to so they don't wander off by accident!

Oh so you decided to pull through with that?

I didn't know what you'd like so i went with the dog, everybody loves dogs.

Hmmm my Romantic Successes?.. Well i dated this one girl for about a year and a half, it was great and then she ended it, but it was okay because i got with what some would tag as a "Rebound Girl", dated her for about 9 months, which i guess was a success i guess and then she ended it and now i've been single for about a year with no new romantic relationships or even just friendships for as far as the eye can see. Ah well, i chalk it up to not being my true self around certain (the Majority of) people

oh, and i got laid, it was full of spectacular fail, so im not sure if i should claim it as a success

This picture easily sums up my success in relationships:

Ouch!
I feel dumb. I miss the point of this picture, please explain?

On Topic: Well we aren't together anymore, but my first and only girlfriend thus far was a good friend of mine for a few months, then she started liking me, and made it very obvious that she did. I didn't think much of it until I started realising how similar we were, and just how well we got on. I fell for her, asked her out, she said yes, and well...we were togther. For 3 weeks. Ace...

The trick is to be really smart, handsome and funny. That way by the time you're single again there's another girl waiting to throw themselves at you without you needing to go out and be all sensitive and crap. Later in life a lack in any of them fields can be made up for with a sufficient level of monetary earnings.

*Cough*

Grats on the relationship! That new relationship 'buzz' is the best feeling on the fucking planet, I swear to God.

yes, we've been together for almost 2 weeks now and we've decided to take it slow anyway since we're not planning on telling the family anytime soon, but it's cool since I get to see her just about everyday since I work close to her school and I pick her up and we do stuff when ever we get the chance... and yes everyone loves dogs...

Uhm...my relationship with my current boyfriend just kind of happened. XD
I wish stuff would "just kind of happen" to me.
Well I was friends with him for a good few months.
Why not try just making friends with girls?
Although I dislike the practice of making friends with people just to try and get with them...
If that seriously worked, i.e. just making friends with girls, I'd be the English Hugh Hefner (except 20 instead of 80-whatever...). I have plenty of girl friends, and I'm sharing a flat with two girls in less than a month, but it hasn't helped me on the romance side of things... :(

Anyway, the only success story I've had is also my only 'girlfriend' (well, a short-lived long distance relationship when we were both several years younger, after meeting on holiday in Wales - she's Scottish and I'm English, so all we need is an Irish element to make it a proper UK tour :p).

Not the best story in the world though, so I won't bore everyone with the details. Suffice to say it didn't last, we're barely in contact anymore (though we did stay friends, we just drifted apart over time), and to the best of my knowledge she's now dating a German guy. Yeah. Not really a 'success' story, I guess, now, is it?

Compulsory Congratulations to the OT.

I always think asking out someone is like the 'bad prequel' to the more important 'Will you marry me?' question.

By this I mean that it's such a trivial and lowly question, almost on a whim sorta thing that, to me it seems like it has no purpose.
It just seems like you say this one question to someone; if they say yes to you then it magically opens a barrier for you to...touch them?

Just seems a bit ridiculous really.
Anyway... enough of my anti-romance hate at this time of night...

I've had a few girls who I have really held deep feelings for, yet these have always been halted by one or two things;

1) Her brother told me to back off
2) She had a boyfriend
3) She was 'seeing' someone else (A personal hate of mine.. please girls, stop this yeah?)

I've only had one girlfriend (and she turned out a total psycho) but I know the demographic I attract and so from that I usually do alright but none of these girls I attract are the ones I want

Congrats.

Personally my relationship scorecard looks like this:

Liked: 2

Unrequited: 1

Not a fucking clue what he thinks about me: 1

So yeah.

Well done!

In my freshman year of high school I went out with a girl two years older than me. That was a surreal year. Things like that generally don't happen to slightly overweight, bespectacled nerds, let me tell you.
Hey that happened to me as well! To bad she was a overly clingy girl...

OT: Awesome dude! I should get on that stuff my self.

It turned out she liked me just as I had taught myself to 'unlike' her. I rapidly amended that situation. That was a year and a half ago. Yay ^^

What do you mean, more or less?
were not first cousins...
So?
You're dating your cousin, I see nothing wrong with that.
my fears more or less have to do with how my family would accept the fact that we are dating... not so much that we are cousins because I couldn't care less about that... I have a conservative and religious family...
Since they're obviously morons, just ignore them and what they say.

Nice.

Uh...
Nope, none of that kind of success for me.
It's always short-lived by some sort of detail i did not see coming. Really sucks, but eh. Live and let live.

Yeah, some girls are pretty great!
Other girls are smelly and have cooties though.
