Ok, this is my first forum game so be gentle.

The idea to this is to post a riddle of your choice and let other people guess what the answer to the riddle is. Simple, huh?

Below is an example.

Person A: Find something that it is as big as you are, but with no weight whatsoever.
Person B: It is your shadow that does not have weight.

Quote the person whose riddle you are answering so we know who's you are answering. Also when answering please put the answer in a spoiler tag like these. [*spoiler] [/*spoiler], just remember to remove the *'s.

If you can't answer someone's riddle but have a good one of your own (like I'm going to be) please feel free to post it.

Good luck and have fun. I'll start the ball rolling.

What do you think follows after this row: o, t, t, f, f, s, s, _, _, _?

You can post your own now.

EDIT: Changed title to something better then 'The Riddle game'

No, that's also wrong. This is quite an obscure one I admit. Think numbers.

Congrats. You can post one now or try and answer this one.

A cowboy story: A cowboy came into the village on Friday, spent there four days, and then left on Friday. How is that possible?

Seeing as how my mind is on increasingly hard math, I'll just answer yours.

His horse's name is Friday.

Well, that was easy wasn't it...

I'll let others post theirs now if they have any.

It wasn't that easy. I just remember hearing it before.

Another one.

Here is a situation. Two cannibals serve their meal and they are enjoying a conversation. When one comments about how he really does not like his mother in law, he receives a funny answer. What is the answer?

Bit odd funny.
And you were sort of correct. It was close enough.

Funny as in "haha" funny or "that's a bit odd" funny?

Either way I suspect it's something like "Why are we eating her then?"

Regardless of whether I'm right, here's one for you all.

You arrive at an unmarked crossroads. One way goes to Truth Town, whose inhabitants can only tell the truth, and the other to Lying Town, whose inhabitants can only lie. A man, who you know is from one of the towns, can tell you which way to go. But what can you say to make sure you can get to Truth Town?

Answer: I ask for the direction to lying town.

Am I right? Can I live?

You're wrong. If he's lying he'll point to Truth Town but if he's truthful he'll point to Lying Town. =P

So you're no closer to either town.

Ask him if he were from the opposite town which direction would he say truth town would be? and then choose the opposite.

Step 1. Ask where Lying town is.

Step 2. Ask where he is from.

If he is truthful he will point to Lying town first, then to Truth Town.

If he is lying he will point to Truth town both times.

Regardless, the second time he will point to Truth town, but you will know whether or not he is telling the truth.

Here's one from me.

Another food for thought: The one that made it, they did not need it; the one that bought it, they did not use it; and the one that used it, they did not know what it is. So, what is it?
