That's all well and good, right up until somebody leaves the door open. XD.

Then, all that impenetrable armour becomes completely useless.

I don't like the idea of having so many window's when it's not in block mode. If the power craps out and it's in normal mode when that happens you're screwed. Also, where the frak is the Dakka for dealing with the zombies!? I'm sorry but when dealing with zombies I want enough fire power that I could shoot down the Battlestar Galacica.

Maybe if they'd use bullet-proof glass for the windows you'd have a line of defence against the first wave. When that's taken care of you could try and close up shop manually.

to any one complaining about the glass read this.

"And when the zombies come, the whole thing essentially folds up into a giant, impenetrable block of concrete accessible only through a second-floor entrance protected by a rising drawbridge."

I am literally filled with so much jealousy right now. I want to kill the owner of that house and take it as my own.

I'm just sayin'. Nice house.

Nope, This is [http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/anti-zombie-fortress]!

And £5 says it works better than that technological failure ;)
Why? It has glass. Never hide in a building that has glass in a zombie apocalypse. Let alone a building with a glass outer wall!
You didn't read the article -.-

It can close in on itself and become concrete on all sides and covers the glass, I guess there's a button on the inside or something

Yeah, it might just be impervious (once you get those nice big shutters shut, and the shutter down), but to my mind there are some flaws - the drawbridge for one, as well as independant water and electricity supplys. Th drawbridge doesn't (from what the picture shows at least) doesn't seem to close fully. And then to be fully impervious of course you will need a fresh supply of both water and electricity inside the house - the best way to protect against Zombies after all, is not to go near them. Even for one last look at the sun before you shut yourself and any other people into that concrete box.

But you're gonna be in there for the duration - you're going to want light, warmth, the ability to cook food...or reheat it I suppose. That can't rely on a definite power source.

Totally impenetrable except for that massive, flimsy-looking garage door covering the ENTIRE wall on one side. Somehow I think this may be a liability.

And zombies? Psh. Everybody knows they aren't real. This would make a dramatic decrease in the damage those darn neighborhood kids are inflicting upon our house though.

A zombie friendly house would be..... a house made of people.

Seems inhumane to construct things out of body parts, and you KNOW the neighbors are going to hate you.
