And I'm going to believe that some guy who screws others in front of a camera and sells these videos for money, is a reliable source on what is a good or bad influence on children?

Wow what a huge dick...this man is. Why is it most people with a voice which is heard are morons who run their mouth off before they know an iota of what they're talking about. Granted that Mr Jeremy is hardly in a circle of well respected social commentators, but still... what a prick.

I fail to see the logic that a kid playing a game in which you fight evil is worse than watching two men fisting.

Well I do think that there is some merit to his statement in that it highlights the ongoing imbalance in how American media(be it movies or games) and its censorship/ratings systems deal with sex vs violence.
In many cases full frontal nudity is seen as being more offensive(and therefor unsuitable for children) than highly graphic violence.

Hmmm, well, I see Ron was trying to side step the whole "porn is bad" debate. I wouldn't say he was calling gaming out so much as he was trying to get old boy off his back. Plus, it's not like Ron is Mr. Moral Ideal.
While both M-rated games and porn should be on the prohibited list for young children. I don't think either of them is going to cause irreparable harm. Most kids can tell the difference between fantasy and reality. Those that don't have problems worse than M-rated games or porn.
It all has to do with context. If you can put porn or violence in the right context for children, there's no problem.
I'm going to ask good ol' Ron here 2 questions:
1. In what way does porn fuck up children?
