RuneScape Has 105 Million User Accounts

Yes I'm sure that many have signed on and I highly doubt a good chunk of that sign back on regularly besides bots and the like.
I know people who have made several accounts just to flame people on it.
Who would actually want to play this game it is shockingly awful.
I'd rather play WoW any day(that is big coming from a Guild Wars man).

Ok, 10 million ACTIVE users, 1-2 million members.
Active users most likely doesn't include bots because it's hard as hell to get a working bot.
It's excellent for a free browser game with 0 downloads needed, even for members.
It's targeted to elementary/middle school kids.
The only people hating on it are the ones that never ACTUALLY played it ("I played for 10 minutes and got bored" <--- WTF?!?!?)

So many haters...is dissing RS the latest hip thing for you crazy kids? I played for a couple of years and loved every minute of it, until the fateful day my best friend bought WoW. In my opinion, WoW is a clearly superior MMO, however RS was (and may well still be) a great game. Just because something isn't the very best in its field, doesn't render it a complete failure.

Minus bots, multi accounts, and jagex lost alot of players after wilderness took a fall and some of the new updates annoyed some people. so when it comes down to it theres not alot of accounts.
And the true nerds, like my friend Charlie, had a paying account that probably had over 1000 hours of gameplay when he finally put it down.kayonaku said:

Did they give players an area to kill eachother and a free market defined by supply and demand again? Or is the game still stuck with the minigame area and the Runescape exchange?Akai Shizuku said:
They have entire servers dedicated solely to PVP, making the entire game map (with the sole exceptions of a few safe spots) a PVP area. They also restored the old Wilderness on other servers and even added a new feature to it - After 20 minutes surviving, you are given a target.
